Anyone Else Fed UP With the GOP?

Posted on 01/27/2009 9:26:08 AM PST by Karama

I am posting this, because of recent events. I am very upset with watching our freedoms being signed away by this new "President", and seeing those who are supposed to be leaders in the GOP not even batting an eye over it. I am sick of the spineless way some of the GOP behave when they should be standing up saying, "Heck No we are Not going to let you do this."

We voted for these people on the notion that they would carry out the conservative agenda that we sent them there to perform. So far we have yet to see much of this. We as citizens give these people the power to rule us. I say it is time we start taking it away if they will NOT obey the will of those who gave them their power in the first place.

I think also the crowing moment that has set me on fire for a new kind of change is the "President's" comment that he won so we should all just sit down shut up and do what ever he wants. When he told the officials we elected that he in effect told us this as well. I say now is when we need to break this silence and be as loud as we can be. I refuse to sit down and shut up any longer. I don't care if I am the only one who is willing to get a bull horn and speak my mind. I will. Conservatives, friends, silence is getting us no where, but shafted. We need to take a more proactive tack with our government. Even if it means starting a new party.

I have as of late felt that the GOP leadership has left it's grass root conservatism behind. It has fallen prey to the notion that if they become more "moderate" that they will be loved by the liberal left. Hog wash!

So in light of this, I feel if our so called "leaders" are going to leave us behind, then I feel we should do them the same turn. I call for all those with a mind for justice, and a love of freedom to stand up. All those who wish to not see this great Republic fade into the night stand up! Stand up for the constitution, for God, for the betterment of mankind! STAND UP!

Posting a bump to the American Independent Party and the Constitution Party. They have been the ones to come out and help with the suits and activisms for this Presidential Coup.

The RNC? Crickets? I hear crickets.

That alone is a reason to support them, even if you don't join.

...this sounds just like the other members of the UnAmerican Democrat Party members who sign up here to tell us what to do and think.

Yes, and the big plan this time is for us all to "stand up." Yawn.

* REVIEW & OUTLOOK
* JANUARY 28, 2009

A 40-Year Wish List

You won’t believe what’s in that stimulus bill.

“Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it’s an opportunity to do things you couldn’t do before.”

So said White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in November, and Democrats in Congress are certainly taking his advice to heart. The 647-page, $825 billion House legislation is being sold as an economic “stimulus,” but now that Democrats have finally released the details we understand Rahm’s point much better. This is a political wonder that manages to spend money on just about every pent-up Democratic proposal of the last 40 years.
[Review & Outlook] AP

We’ve looked it over, and even we can’t quite believe it. There’s $1 billion for Amtrak, the federal railroad that hasn’t turned a profit in 40 years; $2 billion for child-care subsidies; $50 million for that great engine of job creation, the National Endowment for the Arts; $400 million for global-warming research and another $2.4 billion for carbon-capture demonstration projects. There’s even $650 million on top of the billions already doled out to pay for digital TV conversion coupons.

The RNC sent me a membership card the other day.

I’ll either burn it to increase my carbon footprint or mail it back with some well-deserved criticism.

Changing my party affiliation back to NAV - Non-Affiliated Voter.

Screw ‘em!!!

At least Pence is one of the few that are speaking against the Democrat pork bill.

Wednesday, January 28, 2009
By Fred Lucas, Staff Writer

Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com)

“House GOP Conference Chairman Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana faulted House Democrats for not sharing the same bipartisan spirit as the president.

“The American people deserve to know that the president’s call for a compromise has been completely ignored by House Democrats who would use a time of national economic crisis to fund their big government priorities under the guise of stimulating the economy,” said Pence in a statement released after the meeting with Obama.

Pence referenced parts of the bill he said had little to do with helping the economy, such as $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts; $200 million to plant sod on the National Mall; $400 million for climate change research; and $200 million for contraception. (According to the Associated Press, Democrats have voted to delete the Mall-sod provision.)

“The Democrat bill won’t stimulate anything but more government and more debt,” said Pence. “The slow and wasteful spending in the House Democrat bill is a disservice to millions of Americans who want to see this Congress take immediate action to get this economy moving again.”

“House Republicans have a better solution,” said Pence. “By enacting the Republican plan for fast-acting tax relief for working families and small businesses, the American people will see immediate results that will put our nation on the road to recovery.”

“Michelle Bachmann was on Glenn Beck this afternoon and begged for all of us to call, fax, email our representatives, said the democrats are trying to force this through before the people get wind how bad it is...”

Our taxes are skimmed on the way to Washington and on the way to New Jersey (in order to cover Medicaid for families making over $100,000 a year) or where ever they end up, such as the proposed $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts and the $200 million to re-sod the Mall.

And, how about that tax-cheat Treasury Secretary??

Hold the line, Texas Republicans. Y’all tried to get Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in control in 2004, get *this* done or we’ll pay the same way.

We all need to call our Reps and Senators, now.

“Screw .... and the godless Libertarians.”

Let’s see: My wife and I built and own our business, homeschool our children (2 have graduated) and pay our own way. We have supported every conservative who we have had a chance to support. I am a 12 year veteran of the Navy, with a tour in a combat zone.

I have earned the right to say the following:

Screw you too.

What are you doing to make sure a real conservative runs against him in a primary? Maybe you should do it.

What we have now in this country is a one-party system. You live in IL, you have to know the corruption that is taking place simply because Democrats run the whole show. Look at the states that are in Democrat control. Unemployment is highest there because if taxes and regulations and corruption.

Now we have these idiot RATS in DC ready to throw billions to their ACORN buddies.

Today I'm going to start calling other RAT congressmen in my state. It will probably be futile but I'm going to do it anyway.

We're in trouble folks, and we had better put our ire where it belongs--towards RATS!!!!

Boy, are you naive. I was once sucked in my these "purists" in the CP, too. Those people do not care one twit about their country. So what did you get for your vote? You got nothing and you never will.

I sent these thieves money--more than once but my eyes were opened when I heard their radio ads during the 2000 and 2004 elections. Their ads tried to convince me that Bush was more dangerous than Gore or Kerry.

I've heard third parties received a few thousand votes in the MN senate election.

Coleman may not be perfect but he's a heck of a lot better than that crazy Freaken.

We must hang together. We've been given the primary process and we need to use it to advance our agenda.

The GOP has ceased being a viable alternative to the Bolsheviks in the Democrat Party.

It has instead become an obstacle to opposing them since it is run by a collection of globalist loons who pander to the Rats and are often philosphically indistinguishable from them.

We need another party.

The Arlen Specters, Olympia Snowes, Lindsey Grahams, Bushes and JOHN MCCAINS must GO!!!! They need to be flushed down the toilette bowl of historical non-entities.
