"Obama, Biden to Visit Supreme Court,' Today, says CBS News"

http://investigatingobama.blogspot.com/2009/01/obama-biden-to-visit-supreme-court-says.html

In part:

"At the invitation of Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden will pay a protocol visit to the Supreme Court of the United States tomorrow afternoon."

"The visit is a private event. There will be no photo or press availabilities."

A 'protocol' visit? It's happened twice before...and that's protocol?

Perhaps some (Constitutional) discussions will be had.
hmmmmm

Dogz: I do not need to prove anything, FYI. I am not suing the president-elect.

I am not a lawyer, but I believe that with all the suits out there the Supremes can straighten out this issue if they want to. The time is definitely ripe for them to do so, and I believe that they MUST. However, with this business about the “public good” or whatever rubbish they have concocted to shirk their responsibilities, I don’t know if they will.

Look where expediency and political correctness have gotten us today! We need to uphold our laws and process at all costs. For this reason, I would NEVER support attempts to delegitimize a president or taint an election. This is a legitimate issue.

Even if Obama were to finally show documentation, this issue would still be extremely important. It simply would not involve him. He should have done that long ago, as McCain did.

What ever the case, he has satisfied the same requirements just as the other 42 men that have done.

It would be a good idea for states to pass laws that would require a candidate to produce a passport or birth certificate before being placed on the ballot.

Valid point...but I, as someone represented by the document that begins, "WE THE PEOPLE" am very interested...as well as a vast number of people across this board, across this country and across the globe.

The POTUS works for me, for us...not the other way around. If you chose to accept all the misdirection, ignoring and troll infestation, as well as a background of someone who does not rate washing your car, (And I am not calling you a troll here), then so be it...just do not knock the attempts to find out the truth by others; be glad there are those willing to do the work to make sure. There are serious questions and if it comes to pass that the man is a Natural Born Citizen, then so be it...Good for him and the country.

But when questions are asked of someone who works for me and they go ignored, get out!!!! And if we find out the man has good credentials after all the questions, questions which he absolutely knows are being asked, and we find he gave indignation to response, I for one find that far, far worse...and a trait in a man that has no busy in the role of POTUS.

He has satisfied absolutely nothing. Like it or not, Obama is different from other candidates in that he had a very international upbringing. You’ve seen the facts listed and the questions raised, I’m sure more than I have.

These are reasonable questions, which he has refused to answer. Couple that with the sealed records and the fact that he will e-mail a digitized image of a birth document to a web site and a newspaper but will not submit it to a court, and you have reasonable suspicion that something is amiss.

I have said that if Obama had lived in Chicago all of his life these suits would be outrageous harassment. That is not the case.

All of our politicians need to be accountable to us. Had McCain refused to show his birth certificate I would have been equally concerned. You don’t want to hear any questions about Obama. You are entitled to your opinion. I am entitled to mine.

Like it or not, Obama is different from other candidates in that he had a very international upbringing.

I also had an international upbringing having lived in three countries besides the U.S. and had traveled to at least 20 countries before I was 18. However, that does not make me ineligible for the presidency.

You deliberately misinterpret what others are saying because it is the only way that you can make your points. I notice that you didn’t pick out my statement that Obama has proved absolutely nothing about his eligibility.

I did not say it makes you or Obama ineligible. It makes questions reasonable and even necessary. With jet travel and increased immigration, more and more people fall into this category, making the vetting of candidates more important every day.

SCOTUS needs to deal with this. Otherwise, we will likely face a crisis in the future immensely more serious than what is happening now.

You said:
“or perhaps Berg and other cases are without merit...just saying.”

SCOTUS can deny a case w/o explanation or simply refuse to even consider it. Multiple cases questioning BHO’s eligibilty are presently before the court. One will be considered in conference today, another a week from today. More are coming.

If these cases were w/o merit wouldn’t & shouldn’t they have been dismissed before now?

How can a Justice take a private meeting with a defendant in a case before his court?

How can a Justice swear someone into office while considering a case that claims that person is ineligible for that office?

I am no expert, but it seems to me, this is the usual court procedure. All have been dismissed in the end. I believe the Supremes would have acted before now if they were planning to.

I have no doubt, you are a reasonable person;your post clearly demonstrate this...however, Many Americans would not be reasonable. They would see this as the Supreme Court justices-mostly appointed by the GOP overturning an election. There would be hell to pay. I doubt you could get a Repub elected for many years if ever...it would make Watergate look like a walk in the park.

I don’t worry about this anyway because all signs point to Obama being born in Hawaii and Scotus will do noting on the natural born issue nor should they. As for Berg, he is a nut case and in my opinion a conman. He is no doubt separating the gullible from their money as we speak.

Easy answer, they have no intention of taking the case and will dismiss it.

What is your definition of “natural born citizen”?
