Members of TeamSarah.org, that ever-growing national group of feisty supporters of Gov. Sarah Palin, have complained to the Federal Communications Commission about a joke David Letterman apparently made about Palin.
In a note to members Monday, Team Sarah claims members are "hearing" that the FCC is launching an investigation into the Letterman barb. The group doesnt say which joke members found offensiveLetterman has routinely picked on the governor in recent months. But it could be when he and sidekick Paul Shaffer said they were aroused by Palin when she was running for vice president. In the November show, Katie Couric was Letterman's guest.

Since I never watch littleman I had no idea that he had joked about burning her church.
There is something dangerously sick about the man and his obsessive hatred.
I joined Team Sarah just so my name could be added to their list of members. Perhaps I will get more involved and help in any way I can.

Oooh we should take advice from a newbie distractor because of what? Ever heard of grassroots and having a base? TeamSarah is the foundation for Palin’s political future. Much to the chagrin of certain people.

Letterperson is such a POS I would certainly support a boycott of his sponsors. If he wants to entertain...fine. If he wants to be a political drumbeater...fine. We can let him know how WE feel...

I'm saying that they are quibbling over a non-issue. It is certainly good to have a grassroots base. It is not good to have one that speaks for you with your name on it, when you have no direct control over their actions.

But he REALLY gets horny when Obamas name is mentioned. We're talking about David Letterman here, not Chris Matthews.

re: The article does not mention what "joke" TeamSarah complained about. I doubt it's the sexist "arouse" joke. Letterman however joked about the burning of Palin's Church!)))
excellent point. I had forgotten that!!

Good grief—and I posted that thread! I would love to see Letterman called on that nasty, hateful crack.

It is time to put people like LetterJerks in the public eye. The complaint with FCC might not work. But, it gives a free publicity to TeamSarah and also Letterman has to watch his mouth. If he goes overboard again, then there will be complaints from all Womens Lib sources from over. Can he do the same thing with Hillary or Caroline ? What will happen if someone says he is aroused by Michelle Obama?

I think they would say that he is either blind or really does have a sexual problem.

The ‘apparently’ was a touch from the Drive-By Media.
They allegedly give a pass if it was a “tingle up my leg” emergency.

This has me so jazzed.
Are you kidding me? This is what liberals do. They get offended and try to silence free speech. This is petty and stupid.
