Members of TeamSarah.org, that ever-growing national group of feisty supporters of Gov. Sarah Palin, have complained to the Federal Communications Commission about a joke David Letterman apparently made about Palin.
In a note to members Monday, Team Sarah claims members are "hearing" that the FCC is launching an investigation into the Letterman barb. The group doesn’t say which joke members found offensive—Letterman has routinely picked on the governor in recent months. But it could be when he and sidekick Paul Shaffer said they were “aroused” by Palin when she was running for vice president. In the November show, Katie Couric was Letterman's guest.

The only thing Letterman and Shaffer could get aroused by is looking at each other.
It’s hard to be upset at littleman when we have chrismatthews admitting to being aroused by obambi.
The FCC has cover on this one because the One didn’t complain when Chrissy said he got a “tingle in his leg.”
The Sarah Fan Boys are a bit sensitive.
Pretty sure they picture themselves in tights rescuing her from the Dragon.
Thank you for pointing that out. She was surely ... ahem!... much "admired" here on FR during the campaign, "hot babe" that she is and all. Her looks were constantly commented on.
It's rather coy of "Team Sarah" to not come out and say which comment they're referring to, and the whole exercise in indignation is rather pathetically comical in itself.
I was watching the show (don’t ask me why-—it was just on). The “joke” clearly was of a sexual nature; Katie Couric was in the guest chair and was obviously uncomfortable (blushing and saying “no comment”).
Other broadcasters have been fined by the FCC for less.
If she is, it makes her look thin-skinned, a characterization that does not fit her.
Although Letterman is a non-funny has-been, at least he got aroused by the correct gender, unlike Mr. Thrill-up-his-leg Matthews.

Yep. Seen by millions of people every night, makes millions of dollars every year...poor bastard.
That site is almost entirely female.
Letterman however joked about the burning of Palin's Church!
I think this is what is the issue here.
And it's defiantely more discomforting.

If you have any aspirations of national office in the future you need to disasscociate yourself with TeamPalin. They will be an anchor around your neck that will kill your ability to be a viable candidate in the future.
