After 10 years and many thousands of replies, I am leaving FR.
I don't really care, and I don't know why anyone else would.
I am leaving before I am banned (again). Truth doesn't seem to matter on FR. I don't know if it is donations or sympathetic opinions that do, but I have been suspended twice when I followed the rules and the people who complained to the moderators didn't, yet the moderators sided with them.
For the record, evolution is a fact and the Shroud of Turin is a fraud. I would prove it if the admin moderators would let me, but they won't. Your resident "expert", Swordmaker won't debate me because he can't.
I will work to build a forum where members have rights and truth matters.

All the controversial threads are hidden for members only, now. That happened after several threads where links were posted to their anti-FR ravings and it was either too embarrassing for them or they decided that it was making them look bad.
I’ve perused there on occasion and have picked up tidbits here and there of members (ex-FReepers) who either take a liberal stand on something over at DC or have bragged about how the supported (fill in the blank liberal agenda) on FR for years without getting banned.
About the only conservative stand I’ve seen them take on any issue is gun control.
Wow, how did you manage to get it so backward? Does the sun rotate around the earth too? Is the square round? Elvis alive? Margarine better than butter? Were you drunk on non-alcoholic beer when you wrote that? Are you down under, seeing the planet upside down?
And why 'Merry Christmas' if it's a fraud the Shroud of Turin, which incidentally you can see, touch, smell, unlike your beloved theory of evolution, why not "Happy Shopping Season"? That would be more fitting to your view of the world!

I hear you've actually read Alamo-Girl's and my book, Don't Let Science Get You Down, Timothy. May God bless you for that! I further gather that you think the character, "Froggie," is very weak. I'd love to know why. The important thing about Froggie is that he is a composite character, drawn from various FReepers with whom A-G and I have been corresponding for years (most of whom are long gone by now), whose "lines" were drawn from the actual replies of actual FReepers. The common selection factor for Froggie's viewpoint is the materialist, doctrinaire Darwinist concept of reality that Timothy seeks to refute.
So if you think we've been "unfair" to Froggie, and want to debate the issue, bring it on! We'll be glad to answer you point for point.

Second; yes, some posters have been mean to you. Most of the time it was after you "threw a turd in the punch bowl." Man up and accept your share of the blame.
