Fox News in Ratings Free Fall
Here's something you won't hear on Fox News -- ratings for the cable news channel have been plummeting since before the November election.
According to TV Newser, the number of people watching Fox during prime time in the 25 to 54 age bracket dropped in April for the sixth straight month.

Not surprising. But how does FNC's viewer decline compare to CNN's or MSNBC's?

In the article, apparently CNN has been regaining viewers although have been seeing similar losses... FOX is the only one continuing to drop.

So this appears to be a hit piece, posted by you on another forum, supposedly originating from a CNN news release.
[yawn]
FNC - still kicking butt and taking names.

There was nothing there about CNN regaining viewers. Show me. It said CNN's drop had apparently "stabilized."

Misinterpretation I guess... stabilizing means gaining from the lower numbers in my opinion.

I rely on Fox cable news a lot less than before. To much M Jackson and such.

CNN and non-cable news have that crap on too much also IMO... who really cares? MJ is just a crazy guy.

If you follow the links from your survey back to its mothership, you find
this, from the link:
The project is part of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. It is underwritten by the Pew Charitable Trusts.
Nuff said.

That chart is a joke, but at least you did come up with a source. MSNBC had more growth - percentage wise - than FNC last year. Big whoop. If MSNBC adds 100K viewers, they probably have a 100% increase, while FNC would have a 2% increase (stats completely made up by yours truly for illustrative purposes).
All you do is apparently come on here to promote your blog. You have little credibility in my book.

Albeit, the topics are usually of relevance.
Additionally, all my posts are in the blog section.
Also, since when do we freepers care about credibility?

Since day one. At least "we FReepers" that have been around here more than three months, or "we FReepers" that do more than simply push our misinformed opinions as facts.
Couldn't bite your tongue, could you Lib? :-D

Here's some credibility for you, Ill, from a non-blog article written just last month.
...In fact, a landmark study released last year by the Project for Excellence in Journalism found that absent a crisis, day-to-day cable news ratings, contrary to popular belief, have been flat since 2001 at a baseline of more than 1.4 million in daytime (more than 2 million prime time) with little room for growth since most cable systems already carry the shows.
Fox News and CNN dispute this and say ratings are up. Audiences for network news remained steady during most of that period but have dipped lately, Poltrack says, probably because of Fox's growth...

Also, since when do we freepers care about credibility? Aside from the illiterate zot posters, that's one of the most moronic (and insulting) statements I've seen in seven+ years here.
