I am an independent and have become uneasy about what is happening in Iraq. The constitutional crises now going on is pitting the various factions against each other. What bothers me the most, however, is the fact that Iraq is on it's way to becoming a country ruled by islamofacists. I realize this was not our goal, but the reality is our policy there has created a situation that does exactly the opposite of what we wanted. How does this benefit the US?

I recently read a great book called Amongst The Marines by Steven Preece. I bought a few from the Amazon.com website but this is the one that stood out. Its a perfect example of bullying amongst the military ranks and what this type of behaviour turns people into.

Funny thing came to my mind just recently, With all of those stories on Free Republic on how the world hates us and all that? I am absolutely outraged and believe the entire bush and blair administrations need to be put in shackles and tried for war crimes in the Hague. Impeachment should begin in the US immediately for bush, cheney and most of their cabinet. These outrageous, deadly actions makes Watergate seem insignificant.
