.....easy answer...because he wanted to win the case...

As far as Fresno's opinion....I think there are others here... friends who've conversed with him more than I, who can answer that better.

Well ... when you go to the link for the story, it shows both lawyers. Under Feldman's name it says "defeated", and under Ducek's name it says "deceitful" - I want to know why someone would have used that word? Obviously, they thought he did something deceitful to warrant that title - what did he do?????

I only watched KUSI's update each evening. I work for a living so watching during the day is impossible.

I think it was his almost entire closing argument that was definitely "deceitful" to say the least. His theatrics of a rape scene w/his hand banging on the table or whatever to simulate the action of DVD's head hitting the headboard of the MH was totally out of line.
DW was NOT charged w/raping DVD and if there had been a rape to the extent of the scene he described there would have been an excessive amount of evidence left. A whole heck of a lot more than a few or even 20 hairs, 1 small drop/smudge of blood that wasn't even ON the bed etc...
He lied, he misrepresented evidence in question, and HE DID IT with the sole purpose of inciting the emotional response of the jury. He in fact wanted them so upset that they would have a hard time listening to ANYTHING Feldman said. THAT is why I believe FresnoDA called him deceitful. Myself, I call him corrupt when I'm in mixed company and I've asked the lord for forgiveness about the other things I called him when I listened to his closing.

You asked why FresnoDA called Dusuck decitful and I gave as close of an explanation possible. You previously admitted to only following the talking heads on the TV that had their information so assbackwards I truly think that they are deaf as well as stupid.
If you don't think it is decitful to imply that a rape happened when you most certainaly know there was no evidence to point to that, then well, I'm afraid that you would possibly do well in the TV talk show biz. Or maybe a position in SDDA's office?

You only watched KUSI updates....but others who know this case inside out are ignorant? You work all day and don't have time to find out about the case except for media regurgitation? Ever read a transcript? Read these threads? I believe you were informed that Fresnoda is no longer posting here. He was banned. He is not available to answer you.

You're in Texas - and that makes you an authority on this case - I don't think so!

It's quite obvious to me the people who were arguing with me about my questions regarding FresnoDA's statements about Ducek, believe Mr. Westerfield is innocent. That is their right! However, calling Mr. Ducek names (as well as calling me names) and incinuating that Mr. Ducek had an ulterior motive or that he used illegal methods to get a conviction are really "ignorant" statements.

The daily updates that I listened to were very accurate; so much so, the Judge was watching them too. KUSI has a wonderful reputation for being honest and fair in its coverage of just about anything.

Sooooo ... why you're even joining in on this argument is beyond me, since I doubt you even heard one day's coverage of this case.

ooops, you caught me! I'm in Texas and there is no way we get any national news. Everybody knows that! Actually, I had to use my computer and link up with LIVE coverage of EVERY day of the trial and the prelim. I also was able to read EVERY transcript and court document using my computer. So, while you and the judge and the jury(NO DOUBT) were listening to the MEDIA, I was stuck here in the uninformed state of TEXAS listening to the actual trial! Imagine that! ROFLMAO! Don't attempt to figure out what Fresno meant. He's way above your level of intelligence.

And ... just because you watched every moment of the trial doesn't mean your analysis is better, or that your judgment of the transcript was any better than anyone elses. Mr. Westerfield is guilty - period!

Ok, pissant. I'll tell you the truth. FresnoDA was trying to use mind control techniques on you. But you caught on. Very, very perceptive of you. I don't believe that I said my analysis of the trial was better or my judgement on the transcripts was better than ANYONE elses, just better than yours. Why FresnoDA is no longer on FR and you are is one of those mysteries that can't logically be explained. Many, I am sure, ask themselves that question every time they read one of your posts.
