Surinamese Deepak Kalpoe, 21, arrives to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Aruban police arrested Kalpoe and his brother Satish, 18, along with a third person according to government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg, saying he doesn't know if the arrests are connected to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Two Surinamese brothers, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, who had been detained and released in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway were arrested again Friday based on new evidence, officials said. The brothers were detained on suspicion of involvement, with unidentified 'other people,' in premeditated murder and rape, the prosecutor's office said. Person to the right is unidentified. Pinging to 1679....
Everything Beth stated is true. There is simply nothing she can do about their incompetence. If there is corruption ... it is well hidden.
We have gone round and round in circles, we have ridden the roller coaster of breath taking climbs and plunges ... all to no avail.
God is the only answer we can put our hope on to bring this to a just end. Pray for it.
terrible isn't it?
this is horrible. Aruba should have done the right thing but they are apparently too corrupt to care about what happened to Natalie. They seem to care more about Joran and his cohorts then the victim.
For those who want to try translating the Bon Dia newspaper on Aruba, here is a free translation service for Papiamento to English:

This is Bon Dia's website with newspaper in Papiamento:

and this is Section A, front page for Sept 10, 2005:

"E DNA riba skeiro di djente di Natalee no ta di Satish" = "the dna on skeiro(brush?) of tooth of natalee do not of satish", meaning, I think: The DNA on Natalee's toothbrush is not Satish's.
"Director di KIA a reanuda trabou ayera" = "director of kia owing to reanuda work yesterday", possibly meaning: Director of KIA reanuda (returned?) to work yesterday.
There may be a better free web translator available, I'm still looking.
NOW is when Beth should go public and unload all of the corrupt dealings, the manipulations of documentation, the changing of statements from speaking to being typed, being threatend etc. etc. It ought to become so HOT for Oduber that he HAS to bite the bullet and make sure that charges are filed against these FOUR people. The fourth being Paulus Van der Sloot. The COLLUSION and CORRUPTION in HIGH PLACES MUST be exposed!!
Aruba: Todays Appeal for Joran and The Kalpoe Brothers
September 9th, 2005 by Scared Monkeys
This just in from a live interview on Magic 96.5 with a live interview from Tito Lacle with Jorans Lawyer Antonio Carlo.
"SUMMARY: Results of todays appeal will be announced next Tuesday at 2:00pm. Defense Attorney Carlo stated that he felt confident that the suspension of his clients detention, Joran Van der Sloot, will not be overturned.
"If by some far chance the judge rules in favor of the prosecution:
1. Joran has to return to serve the remainder of his 30 days in Jail
2.The Kalpoe brothers will have to serve the remainder of their 8 days of detention.
"The prosecutor has re-asked for DNA samples of ALL three suspects Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe. In order for the Judge of Appeals to decide, the prosecutor had to present valid reasons to compare the results to."
I hope Beth goes public with everything also! But according to what I re-posted above, next Tuesday (13th)we will hear what the Judge rules on the appeal. I so hope he rules in favor of the prosecutor! However, with all the obvious curruption in Aruba it is probably doubtful he will.
It is like a stock option. If Beth exercises her option to go public NOW she guarantees that the Aruban court will claim that no proceedings will ever take place against Joran and the Kalpoes. Beth has to weight this against the possibility of the Aruban investigators/courts actually doing their job.
I think that Aruba will never let its priveleged son serve a day. Hence, .... Beth - go public now!
Here is a 2004 story on Joe Mammana:

Crime-fighter keeps quiet about troubled past
Joseph Mammana has pledged thousands to reward funds. But he's also been on the other side of the law.
By Christine Schiavo
Inquirer Staff Writer
...
Mammana's business dealings and the source of his donations are hard to track. He holds a mortgage to a house in Lower Makefield, but his name isn't on the deed. He also owns three businesses in Pennsylvania and one in New Jersey, but they do not apparently exist at their registered addresses.
...
In the late 1980s, Mammana was on the other side of the law.
In 1988, he was charged in Montgomery County with raping a girlfriend, but the charge was dropped in district court when he pleaded guilty to harassment. He was fined $300 and given a 30-day suspended sentence.
In a four-month period in 1989, he racked up nine charges in Florida. In Sarasota County, Mammana posed as a lawyer and, with another man, tried to buy a Corvette using someone else's name and credit history, according to reports in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He spent three months in state prison on charges of aggravated assault, grand theft, fraud and other offenses.
In 1990, he returned to the Philadelphia area and married a second time, noting his job as steelworker on his marriage application.
Upon his return to the area, he was ordered to pay restitution and serve three years' probation for bouncing a check at Zinman Furs in Camden County two years earlier.
While on probation in Camden County and Florida, he was charged in Montgomery County in 1991 with theft and forgery after authorities said he opened a checking account in another man's name, and in Burlington County with theft, conspiracy and burglary after police said he stole three cars from a Nissan dealership.
Mammana's most violent crime occurred that October, when he pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault against his then-wife, Lisa, and to possession with intent to deliver steroids.
Mammana became enraged when Lisa asked for a divorce after 10 months of marriage, according to testimony at the preliminary hearing.
"He threatened to kill me, and he threatened to scar my face," she testified. "He threatened to have my father's house burnt down. He threatened to have my daughter raped and blinded."
Mammana ripped a countertop from its hinges and hit his wife over the head with it. As she called for help, Mammana put a knife to her throat and threatened her again, she said.
Mammana was sentenced to 11 to 23 months. After eight months, he was released to New Jersey, where he served an additional year for the car thefts in Burlington County.
Lisa Mammana, now Lisa Pazdan, did not return calls for comment. She and Mammana divorced in 1992.
His transformation seemed to start a few years later.
In the mid-1990s, Mammana made amends with Zinman Furs by paying about $1,700 in restitution.
"The staff tells me he was always a gentleman," said Larry Wenger, the Pennsauken store manager. "If he walked in the door today, we'd love to sell him something."
At Prestige Saddle, however, owner Karen Porter said she has waited 17 years for Mammana to reimburse her for the jewel-studded belt, engraved: "Joe Mammana, USMC, Mr. North America 1985, Jr. Mr. Universe 1986."
Porter, who had been unaware of Mammana's philanthropy, said: "If he truly wants to be a good guy, he can start with me."
I have high hopes for Joe Mammana (Phillys Avenging Angel) and his statement to Rita Cosby:
"Rita, one last thing. I just want the people of Aruba to know that Natalee Holloways mom, Beth Twitty and Joe Mammana are coming back to Aruba. Hell is coming with them, we did not forget Natalee Holloway.".
What would happen if he hired hundreds of Aruban citizens to march in downtown Aruba and at the cruise ship docks carrying sign demanding rearrest of all 4 suspects and justice for Natalee? What would happen if he shipped in 6 big backhoes with operators and finished throughly searching the dump? What would happen if he set up a fully staffed command central office there and aggressively solicited anonymous information?
I'm sure he has more and better ideas at his disposal, plus the money to fund them.
I just read post #1689. This puts a different slant on Joe Mammana.
Instead of possible civilized marches in Aruba, now I'm thinking, 'Urine, even spirited away to Holland, you're in big trouble". I sure hope so.
I also just read post number 1689. If this is true, who better to go to Aruba. It sounds like he talks their language. Like, "It takes a thief."
Your post in 1690 sound WONDERFUL to me!! Beth needs to forget the little "threats" from the Aruba UNjustice system. It's time to get AGGRESSIVE. Frankly, I would have become aggressive before now. Maybe Katrina gave Aruba's corrupt officials to knock Natalee out of the news, maybe now Beth can use the ELECTION to knock ODUBER and his COLLUDERS out of office!!! I'm sure Jossy (regardless of his checkered background) could round up quite a bit of local support!! And he has an obvious axe to grind with ODUBER and the media vehicle to do it with!!
I agree with you. Time to fight "fire with fire"!! Two can play this game. Push someone around long enough and eventually, they will push back.
Yes, well put in your post 1688!!
I have to play catch-up with the threads (been busy with Katrina relief), but Beth is about to be on Geraldo, now Fox 9:30 central
FINALLY, she's (Beth) is saying "please consider not traveling to Aruba--" She even included any Dutch (can't recall the word she used)
Thus, the desperate knowledge of Beth that she was in that home, the terrible damage done with no search for 10 days.
This goes beyond criminal, delves in to the evil. And yes, Paulus in sooooo involved.

Oh I missed that part. Ok, so let's put our criminal hats on, how do we get those two, to cough up the info on where Natalee is. I agree with CO, gotta fight fire with fire at this point.
