The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

Scott Peterson thought he was untouchable too. I believe the hand of God Himself, reached down and picked up Laci and the baby and set them on the shore, right in the area SP was supposedly "fishing"!! Laci was weighted down also. And wouldn't you know, the Lord chose Easter to set both Laci and Conner on that shoreline and seal Scott's fate. He strutted around free for nearly 4months, arrogant as could be. But many prayed and HE heard and answered and Justice WAS done. Despite the MILLION dollar defense and the extremely unlikely washing ashore of those bodies.

Update 3:55PM EST - Joran's Appeal

Yes, it is possible for Joran v d Sloot to appeal the sixty day extension. There have been legal wranglings and appeals going on all along. It's a fact, but not a breaking story.

It would require a judge to once again be brought in from Curacao for such a hearing and he could be released if it were ruled so. But that would call for today's judgment to, in effect, be over-turned.

Texcat, has it ever been stated what kind of medication Natalee was on and if it mixes with alcohol well? I have a strong feeling she wasn't able to drink much because of her meds.

I'm so sick of the smarmy posts on the other sites. The dutch are truly reprehensible people!

Evidently murdering an American will prove to be no crime in Aruba either.It is very difficult to gather evidence when the perps were given 11 days to destroy it.

Joran will walk, and even if convicted will receive a slap on the wrist for his actions. Kalpuke Bro's giving false statements and obstructing justice are not crimes in Aruba.

I've been much colder in Texas during a "blue norther" than I ever have been here. (It's a "dry" cold. LOL)

I really look forward to the snowstorms. We pile up the firewood, get some good books, put on a big pot of soup, and revel in the glory of it all. The snow piled up in the pines is truly beautiful. Our Siberian Husky loves it. And so do I.

To each his own, I guess.

Any word yet on a Holloway-Twitty presser? If anyone hears about it, please ping me. Mr. RR is emersed in the History Channel right now. I may have to fight him for the "clicker".

Must go, the ribs need to be pulled off the grill.
