Big time fist throwing. Fans, players and more. Any thoughts ?
outstanding... this is going to make me watch NBA again
Guess you missed Wallace throwing the topwel and obviously using colorful language
Thanks for the Indystar link. I was looking for it just moments ago but didnt see it. Thanks.:)
The guy in the white cap who jumped in after Artest was the beer launcher. I know he got hit a few times(and threw a few himself)
The guy Stephan Jackson clocked actually threw his drink at Artest's face when Artest was trying to go after the white guy with glasses.
At the very least, they should ban booze for the rest of the Piston home games.
and Jackson..
That was Ben I think.
People are repeatedly confusing the two Wallaces on the Pistons in this thread.
How about a new rule? Call it a harrassment timeout: each player gets ONE call. If a fan gets to you, then you call the timeout and point him out: "hey ref, hey security: that guy right over there". The game and the clock then continue from there and YOU"RE out of the game for as long as it takes to straighten-out the perceived situation.
I think he means they all should have gone in to bring the Pacers and everyone else back on the floor.
What's a joke is that the Pistons fans made it worse by dousing(all of them on that first level) the Pacers with jumbo beers and popcorn and everything else.
Little kid crying and everything.
You are being polite. I suggest the NBA finals on the Ivory Coast.
In the pic I posted if you look in the back, you can see Jackson stomping on a fan in the background while Reggie Miller tries to restrain him.
Heck, I'd take a punch from Artest or Jackson for a couple mill.
Yep.
Sheed used to have a problem with the refs, but he really isn't into anything else(besides maybe weed) off-the-court.
Wallace, I'm surprised by, but he may have had something built-up towards Artest throughout the night, because he's a good guy.
Alcohol needs to be banned @ all sports events. People get pretty ugly at these things. I grew up right near Wrigley field and believe me, people were so drunk and mean by the time they got out of the ballpark. Just ban all alcohol at sports events..
Will NEVER happen. The owners of sports teams make a boatload of moolah from alcohol sales...
Like I mentioned Ben's brother died a few days ago.

LOS ANGELES Ben Wallace was with the Pistons physically Monday, but his heart was elsewhere.
Wallace learned Monday morning that his oldest brother, Sam Doss, Jr., 61, had died earlier that morning in White Hall, Ala. He had been battling brain cancer.
Bens a little down right now, assistant Gar Heard said after Wallace sat out the teams morning shootaround at UCLAs Pauley Pavilion. He said he wanted to stay and play (against the Clippers on Monday) since he was already here, but he probably wont be his normal self.
The fans bought a ticket to see a basketball game. They didn't get what they paid for. The players would rather push and shove on the court or recline on the table on the sidelines.
Now they're whining about security, or lack there of.
I wouldn't take children to this, if I had any. That is another point for the NBA people to consider, family entertainment
