  • Not addressed today, did Clinton at least lose her security clearance? [Vanity]

Did Hillary Clinton lose her security clearance? FBI Director Comey stated that, while not recommending she be criminally charged, he nevertheless made very clear that she was extremely careless in handling very sensitive, highly classified information. His detailed statement noted, without saying she lied, that she did make incorrect statements (lies) multiple times during the criminal investigation. See Daily Caller for nice summation at http://dailycaller.com/2016/07/05/fbi-director-comey-obliterated-these-hillary-talking-points/. Isn't all of this sufficient to pull her clearance? I cannot imagine I or most of us would still have ours if we did all this. Did she lose her security clearance?

Our Free Republic was born out of Patriotism and this site found itself combating the corruption of the Clintons. We have come full circle and it very well may be another Clinton that puts our ability to be American Patriots at risk. Will the "Vast Right wing Conspiracy" narrative move further from the shadows of public discourse to the common knowledge of a now discredited group of radicals that must be shut down? Those Constitutionalist's that throw a monkey wrench into the Progressive's idea of what is best for them and our Country. The line in the sand has been...
  • Hillary Clinton Will Never Have the Consent of the Governed (vanity)

I remember a time when Americans would by-and-large support the President regardless of party or person. Even up to Obama, there were many Americans who were deeply disappointed by his election, but were willing to give him a chance in the beginning of his first term. Hillary will NOT be given that chance if she is god-forbid elected. If elected, we the people must make it known that we are being governed against our will. This country is too divided and Clinton is such a criminal, that there is no time or room for any good-will for such a President-elect.
  • Trump turns to unlikely speakers for convention help

Denver (CNN)Donald Trump is turning to his family, sports figures and business leaders to fill speaking slots at the Republican National Convention later this month as scores of prominent Republican leaders continue to refuse to line up behind their controversial nominee-to-be. Trump announced Friday that his wife and children "are all going to be speaking" at the nominating convention that kicks off in just over two weeks. And the real estate mogul has also promised to add sports figures and other non-politicians who are supporting him to the roster of convention speakers, which would set the 2016 convention apart from...
  • 13 Percent of People Would Rather Have a Meteor Hit Earth Than Elect Trump or Clinton

How much do some people hate the idea of a President Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump? Apparently enough that they'd rather die in an apocalyptic event than see it become a reality. According to the latest survey by the left-leaning Public Policy Polling, 13 percent of people would rather have a giant meteor hit Earth than elect Clinton or Trump. .. The exact question: "If the choices for President were Democrat Hillary Clinton, Republican Donald Trump, and a Giant Meteor hitting the earth which would you choose?" About 43 percent opted for Clinton, 38 percent for Trump, 13 percent for...
  • Elite K-8 school teaches white students they’re born racist

    07/01/2016 2:08:29 PM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 25 replies
An elite Manhattan school is teaching white students as young as 6 that they’re born racist and should feel guilty benefiting from “white privilege,” while heaping praise and cupcakes on their black peers. Administrators at the Bank Street School for Children on the Upper West Side claim it’s a novel approach to fighting discrimination, and that several other private New York schools are doing it, but even liberal parents aren’t buying it. Modal Trigger A slide from the Bank School shows the different goals for white children (right) and “kids of color” (left). They complain the K-8 school of 430...

Is there a Moterhead ping list? So, the Soup owns one of those baaaad TDi's that the EPA want off the road. The choice is for the Soup to give it back, pay off TDI loan and have about 11K to buy another vehicle. Or wait until they announce a fix within 2 years have it fixed and walk away with 5100 probably taxable dollars. The TDI gets 50 to the gallon and is in good shape, 2013 golf standard transmission. Another factor is it has the famous Tadaka Airbag. I like the diesel and I like the power and...
  • The Twenty-eighth amendment (VANITY)

    07/01/2016 12:37:26 PM PDT · by fhayek · 36 replies
I propose that there needs to be an amendment to the United States Constitution. I also need help from the pool of the most intelligent observers of the political scene. Here is my idea: The president should NOT be allowed to pardon anyone with whom he has a personal connection. So, how should this be structured? I believe that any pardon issued by the 'executive', should be subject to approval by the House of Representative. Should one-third of the House, have objection to the pardon, the pardon would be nullified. Maybe my format should be modified. I would like any...
  • How Is The Meeting Innocent If Clinton/Lynch Met On a Different Plane Than Either Had Arrived On?

Rush Limbaugh revealed something that no one else has mentioned. But first off: "Amid an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of email and hours before the public release of the Benghazi report, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton. The private meeting took place on the west side of Sky Harbor International Airport on board a parked private plane," that was being used by Loretta Lynch and her husband. They're traveling around doing appearances on how the Justice Department's taking over local police departments. Now, neither Clinton nor Loretta Lynch actually arrived in Phoenix...

Someone from the progressive side of the spectrum please justify how there is no perceived conflict of interest with the facts that we know about this meeting: 1. The female who is running for the Democratic nomination is under FBI investigation; 2. The disbarred lawyer represents himself as the husband of the female running for the Democratic nomination. His security and schedule is meticulously controlled by the secret service yet he somehow happens to to have an adhoc meeting on the other side of the nation with the Attorney General, whom he appointed to a Federal position; 3. The Attorney...

I was curious as to all the polls that show a tight race between Trump and Hillary Clinton. To this end, I googled the Reagan-Carter election. Especially pertaining to the June 1980 polling data. It seems that at that time, the election was also "close" with Jimmy Carter expected to have another four year term. From Wikipedia; "Weeks before the election, Reagan trailed Carter in most polls. In the Gallup poll on October 26, Jimmy Carter was at 47 percent and Ronald Reagan at 39 percent. Following his sole debate with President Carter on October 28, Reagan overcame the largest...

Al Qaeda has recently said that lone wolf jihadists should not kill minorities and gays, only whites lest Muslims be accused of hate crimes amd the American federal government will have to take full responsibility. This statement is breathtaking in its many implications. First, it establishes that Muslim extremists who want to kill Americans don't care about the color of the people they murder except in respect to how much sympathy killing them will engender. So really, minorities aren't safe when Al Qaeda decides it's time to drop the pretense and deliver particularly deadly atracks meant to cripple the United...
  • McCain: Delegates Free to 'Make Up Their Own Minds' on How to Vote at Convention

    06/29/2016 7:38:37 AM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 58 replies
As a group of Republican delegates continue their push for the freedom to vote their conscience when casting presidential nominating ballots at the Republican National Convention, John McCain said Tuesday that it's within their rights to vote how they see fit. "I think it's up to every delegate to make up their own minds," McCain told THE WEEKLY STANDARD in the Capitol. "I do not tell them what to do, I never have." Although McCain said he wasn't expressing an opinion on what delegates should do, the former GOP presidential nominee's words of support for the delegates' freedom of conscience...

Taxes on Consumption are always least burdensome, because they are least felt, and are borne too by those who are both willing and able to pay them; that of all taxes on consumption, those on foriegn commerce are most compatible with the genius of policy of the states. I posted this under activism because that's what it is. Considering king obama has publicly stated the courts ruling on immigration will have absolutely NO effect on his policies, and thus he's giving the finger to the court, how about some of our Arizona Freepers implore their state government to do much the same and start enforcing SB 1070??

Pink snow may be aesthetically pleasing, but scientists have found that it is indicative of the rapid pace of global warming. This snow, which thrives in high-latitude and high-altitude regions, is found in areas comparable to the Arctic, where Chlamydomonas nivalis algae, which is normally green, has a chemical reaction to the UV rays from the sun and takes on a reddish-pink hue. Scientists have been aware of rose-tinted snow since 1818, but they initially misunderstood its origins, believing it came about as a result of iron deposits left behind by a meteor. However, subsequent findings from the same year...

  • The least affordable place to live in America is…

    06/23/2016 12:29:00 PM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 48 replies
The most unaffordable place to live in the US is not San Francisco or Manhattan. It’s Brooklyn. A person earning the average salary in Brooklyn cannot afford the average home there — even if he could spend his entire salary (and then some) on housing, according to a survey released Thursday by real estate firm RealtyTrac, which looked at home sales price data in 417 of the most populous counties in the US as well as average wage data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The second- and third-most unaffordable places in America are Marin County, Calif., and Santa Cruz,...
