President Trump has ended former President Obama's 12-year run as the most admired man in America, edging out his predecessor in the annual Gallup survey released Tuesday. Eighteen percent of the survey's respondents named Trump as their most admired man, compared to 15 percent who named Obama and 6 percent who named President-elect Joe Biden. Three percent named National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci, while two percent said Pope Francis.

Hillary Clinton has said she is the only candidate who will continue Obama's policies, so her supporters might be worried that less than a third of Americans are satisfied with the country's direction near the end of Obama's second term.

Some interesting numbers out of Gallup this afternoon: There has been a statistically significant uptick in the percentage of Americans who view the Democratic Party as "too liberal." The survey found that the percentage of Americans who hold that view jumped from 39 percent to 46 percent. That is the highest percentage since November of 1994.

Americans' job approval rating of Congress is up an additional 8 points this month, after a 12-point increase last month, and now stands at 39% -- the most positive assessment of Congress since February 2005.

Gallop recently released polling research which suggests the median proportion of residents worldwide who said religion is important in their daily lives is 82%. So, put it all together, and in the past week Obama has stayed steady or lost support in every party identification group, yet Gallup says his overall support went up four points. And McCain stayed steady or went up in every party identification group, yet we are supposed to accept the claim that his overall support went down by four points? Anyone have an answer for how that is even possible? Well, actually I do. There is one, and only one, possible way that such a thing can happen...

The results are cooked or more dems were polled. Look at Gallop's own poll concerning the debate and who won. Sen. John Kerry and President George W. Bush battled each other to a virtual tie in Friday night's presidential debate, according to a random sample of 515 registered voters who watched the event.
