District of Columbia officials announced Thursday they will not appeal a federal court ruling that struck down parts of the city’s restrictive gun laws, a move that paves the way for more gun owners to obtain concealed carry permits. In June, a federal appeals court ruled against a D.C. law that requires people to have a “good reason to fear injury” in order to carry a handgun, saying it infringes on residents' Second Amendment rights. Circuit to rehear the case en banc, but the court declined to revisit the 2-1 decision handed down earlier this year noting that none of the 10 judges who considered the matter requested a vote on it.

Currently I carry a Para-Ordanance P-12 .45....It's lightweight, high capacity and fairly small....Great for winter carry but not so much for summer in Atlanta....looking for a summer gun....
