This is an article from science.org from 2015. One interesting paragraph:
Biologist Bruce Hay of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena and colleagues took a different approach to blocking GnRH. Rather than rely on animals’ immune systems to create antibodies, he and his colleagues engineered a piece of DNA that—when packaged inside inactive virus shells and injected into mice—turned their muscle cells into anti-GnRH antibody factories. Because muscle cells are some of the longest lasting in the body, they continue to churn out the antibodies for 10 or more years. Both male and female mice with high enough levels of the antibodies were rendered completely infertile when Hay’s team allowed them to mate 2 months later, the team reports online today in Current Biology.
Interesting commentary!
One thing about the elites…they need us commoners if only to be “elite”. Robots won’t care if the elites are at the apex of human existence. Of course, they could be programmed to worship them but it wouldn’t be the same. They need our mere existence to fuel their narcissism and ego more than they realize.
I was shocked that Ryan invoked the name of Trump favorably in his ads. Half of the GOP would shy away from that. His campaign must not think the democrat base would be bothered by that.
That is great advice!!!
We got a toy for our grandchild at a garage sale, and after cleaning it I put it in the Sun for that same reason. I never thought to apply that logic to shopping carts!!! Thank you!
That was some humorous commentary right there!! :)
Family had Covid at thanksgiving. Although my husband isnt overweight , he likes his sweets a little too much and he had the worst of it. I went walking even with Covid because (expletive) Fauci, that’s why. I don’t know how to test for horrible Covid attitude by my son and I had it. But no way I was letting this designer virus win.
Your last paragraph was one of the most poignant things I have read in a long time. It’s a gentle reminder to continue to pray for my loved ones. God bless you.
Revlon had big name spokeswomen back in the day. So did many of the cosmetics companies. Isabella Rosellini for Lancôme, Lauren Hutton for Revlon. Not so much anymore. At least, not names I would recognize.
As for you being a feminist… reminds me of my freshman year at college. In one class the female professor and I were kind of going back and forth about an issue. I can’t remember the specifics but it was getting a bit heated. She angrily asks me “Aren’t you a feminist?” I blithely replied “Nope” just to tick her off. This was way before cancel culture of course.
