Last January we experienced the unexpected death of my grandson James Christopher at age 11.
While we are all suffering with the grief of this crushing pain, my son Liam - James Christopher's father is feeling overwhelmed with grief.
Nothing we can do will change things, but we can ask our loving God ease Liam's pain - so please join me in praying for peace of mind for Liam and all of my family.

it is crushing to lose a child. i lost my nephew bryan at 12, in his sleep, no diagnosis as to why. my sister and brother in law were devastated, but with 3 other sons they had to struggle thru. we kept bryan a part of everything we did as a family and we still do. that was 20 some years ago.
i penned this with bryan’s help. i called it “Why” by bryan’s uncle.
Why
i stood upon the sandy shore, and shouted at the sky.
i need not know all the answers, Lord, just give me the “why”.
i raised my hands up to the Son, but there was no reply.
i placed my face into my palms, and dropped onto my knees.
i cried and sobbed so faintly, over and over, “please”.
i know not how long i stayed there, but was awakened by a breeze.
i turned toward a familiar voice, coming from a child.
“I’ve come to give you comfort, if only for a while”.
i stared onto His radiant face, was drawn into His smile.
i accept things i don’t understand, about God’s master plan.
i expect the ways of love and loss, and handle them, i can.
i respect the love God promises, for each, His chosen man.

Oh, what a tragedy! Lord, we pray in the Name of Jesus, that you comfort this father and the rest if the family. You are the God of all comfort. Give them the peace that passes all understanding, according to your Word. Amen.
So sorry for you, your son, your family and your grandson. I hope and pray that your son finds some peace as soon as possible. What an awful tragedy for all of you.
