Bed Bath & Beyond exec Gustavo Arnal didn’t say a word to his wife before apparently leaping to his death from their swank, 18th-floor apartment in Lower Manhattan, The Post has learned. Arnal, 52, also didn’t leave a note explaining the plunge, which occurred while his wife was in the home with him around 12:20 a.m. Friday, law-enforcement sources said Sunday.

Yes, sad.
On my first job at a library in 1969 the much older librarian there said she remembered the stock market crash when some rich people jumped out of high rise windows because they valued their prestige and power of being financially wealthy above all else and couldn’t stand losing that.
How many died?
“ 100 suicides and attempted suicides were reported in The New York Times, including cases around the country and overseas. Eight of these people had jumped from building, bridge, boat or airplane.”
He went to bed, got up and took a bath, then kept to the great beyond.
Get woke. Go croak.
Do you know what Geronimo says when he jumps from a building Meeeeeeeee
Maybe she pushed him.
Be great to do a parody with an add for my parachute
Plot thickens
This won't be the last one. The average American is struggling to pay their bills. All we can afford is our mortgage/rent, car payments, groceries, gas, utilities and some fast food/restaurants. So all the businesses will be heavily impacted. We are cutting back big time due to Biden's inflation.
Bed & Bath have been closing a lot of stores. They closed the one down in Oxford, AL, in their new I-20 highway birthed mall, grocery store, restaurants, Sam’s Club, and others are located. Lots of hotels and these type places at both Oxford exits. I-20 runs through Oxford, and you go over to Hotlanta or south towards Birmingham. I asked the lady when we were down there the last time, just before they closed and were selling everything at sale prices, why they were closing. She said, money. They claimed that the store was not doing well, but the lady said they were people all over the place every day, shopping. Sad that when the profits are not at some bean counters levels, they close the store and put people who WILL ACTUALLY WORK, OUT OF WORD. But maybe those folks can find a job soon because there are plenty around here asking for workers.
Having worked in a big city ER for years I’ve seen every conceivable form of suicide....even cyanide. Jumping has got to be one of the ugliest of them all.
Right, they need to ask his wife if she’s a Russian agent.
Thank you! Not sure where that poster has gone on a tangent about child porn. Not that I support that, but seems to be a one issue poster
Would be DELICIOUS if Pelosi had invested in BBY
Why on earth would I look at the richest men through the eyes of gay men or gold diggers? I am neither of the two, thank God for that.
If you can find it - buy it, keep it forever - a book titled “Relationshit”. It clearly describes where I'm coming from.
I don't need an book on relationships, after a very long life of great relationships. You read it if you need it.
Wasn't there some politician within fairly recent memory who said he'd been "hiking the Appalachian Trail" when he was really #PoundMeToo'ing some South American hottie?
Policies vary, but many have a 2 year incontestability clause.
Mark Sanford I think?
“Should have stayed on good terms with Mike Lindell”
CFO’s in retail companies don’t make vendor or product decisions. Those decisions are made by the Chief Merchandising Officer, occasionally in concert with the CEO. The My Pillow decision was almost certainly made by the CEO, given the public visibility. In addition, due to the publicity the decision would generate, the CEO likely gave the members of the board of directors a heads up before announcing the dropping of My Pillow. He may have even polled the board to ensure he had their backing.
Check the remains for alcohol and/or drugs. A man whose life is crumbling around him, for whatever reason, could have gotten stoned or sloshed and accidently offed himself from the hi-rise porch.
