Three women have claimed they were abused by the son of an Indiana pastor who was ousted after being accused of grooming a 16-year-old girl for sex more than two decades ago.
Two of the alleged victims accused Jeremiah Lowe, 39, of molesting them when they were youngsters.
One alleged he fondled her breasts when she was just 11 - and he was 18 - and another claimed he molested her when she was a little girl while he was babysitting her in the 2000s.
Lowe's ex-wife, Abbey Plummer, claims he forced her to have sex with him, choked and beat her, and verbally abused her during their turbulent marriage.
She also accused him of rubbing her face in dog urine and of threatening to 'put [her] head through the f***ing windscreen' on one occasion while they were driving.
It comes after Lowe's father John Lowe II, 65, was forced to step down from New Life Christian Church in Warsaw in May after admitting he had previously had an affair with a 16-year-old girl to his congregation.
The girl - Bobi Gephart, who is now 43 - stormed on to the stage during a service, grabbed a microphone and claimed he groomed her as a teenager, took her virginity and sexually abused her.
As Indiana State Police opened an investigation into her claims, other alleged victims told DailyMail.com of accusations against John, his former co-pastor wife Debra Lowe, and Jeremiah.

Don’t leave us hanging…..
Some protestant churches do and in the past all they have done is cover up the sex abuse. That is why we are starting to hear about it now. Like with the SBC.
The internet is why we are starting to hear more cases come out with protestants. They are starting web pages, going on Reddit and comparing notes.
Do you think it's because the board is elected from the pastor's clique? How can that be averted, so that the pastor has no influence on the board?
I don’t go to church and this is why. I don’t need it. I’m not going to listen to sermons only to find out later they were pervs.
Not all who attend church are Christ followers. Attendance at church does not mean salvation applies.

Yes, when the defn of church is a building/tax deductible organization.
When the defn is “The Called Out Ones”, the believers, the Bible believing Body of Christ, then these are not church attenders; they ARE the Church.
The New Testament Church ‘policed’ itself. Any hint of an issue such as this was dealt with, See Matthew 18 spells out the full process of church discipline, from the private rebuke of a single saint, to the collective expulsion from the congregation by the whole church.
The Church will get there. And persecution will increase too.
Enter into Paradise,,,
Organized religion is past its usefulness.
Its a family owned business. Nothing more.
Man-made. Man-made rules.
exactly. see my post
They do, but they are also on the payroll.
Easy part-time pay to keep their mouth’s shut.
history of boards like you mentioned is that they cover up the abuse. lots of reasons one is that ministers of the type that molest will try and controle the board by guiding individuals they can control into being on the board.
I support letting Priests be married.
Not cause married men wouldn’t rape a girl. Unfortunately thousands of girls are raped every year.
But because normal men who want to get married are excluded, the priestly ranks are inundated by fags, many of whom who rape boys. Queers outnumber men willing to be celebate for religious reasons. And it seems gay Catholic men not interested in woman seek to be priests in high numbers. Overall there is a priest shortage.
It’s time for practically to save the church from fags.
,,,,and This is why I don’t
Yup, I had the same experience 20 yrs ago, nice

Expect more of this...radicals shutting down churches with false accusations when the church or Pastor teaches, preaches, or stands against LGBTQ, by not accepting their lifestyle and preaching against it or not marrying them. With false accusations your church can be harmed. Just by rumors or even false criminal accusations. (The fall back being “we could not find enough evidence”. No matter how absurd, or false, a church or Pastor falsely accused can take years to recover, if it recovers at all. I’ve seen it happen by vindictive and radicalized people, when their personal life collides with Bible teaching or doctrine. And all this is on top of Pastors and clergy actually committing these crimes as clergymen.
“Do you think it’s because the board is elected from the pastor’s clique? How can that be averted, so that the pastor has no influence on the board? “
You don’t understand. It’s kinda like with doctors. One a pastor has been caught these boards send him off with glowing recommendations to the next church who has no idea what they are getting. They can’t tell the next church because usually no charges were files. They don’t want charges filed because like the catholic church that is one hell of a lawsuit, no pun intended. Plus a lot of them have this “you can’t touch God’s anointed” thing and can’t talk about about the preacher no matter what he does.
So the sex abusing pastor moves on to the next church and it starts all over again. This is why it’s just as bad in the protestant church as the catholic one, only worse.
Then there is the whole attitude towards sex abuse in general. Just look at it here when ever a story is posted. People blame the victims and not the pastor. Pastors are to know better and when they mess up we need to hold them accountable just like St. Paul said.
Agreed
This is nothing new. Both Peter and Jude warned that it was a problem in their day.
He seems nice
I understand. A group I'm associated with had a molester as the youth activities head. I helped get the evidence to send him to prison. There was a LOT of drama in the group, with some not believing it, and others outraged it had been happening for so long.
With the pastor's case, I would have liked the board to have called the pastor in, discussed the charges with him, then said "We're taking a 20 minute recess. Not you, pastor, just us are leaving the room". And then in walks the father and uncles of the molested minor, and shuts the door behind them.
Well, she said no. But I was persistent, I kept asking every day when our moms would pick us up to take us to school together. But yeah, she kept saying no. Her loss!
