PHOENIX — U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said President Donald Trump insulted Russia when he congratulated Vladimir Putin on his fourth consecutive term in office. “An American president does not lead the Free World by congratulating dictators on winning sham elections,” the senator said in a statement.

If you are a conservative, it is easy to believe that the tech giants have it in for conservatives. But what if that isn't true? What if the "Googlers" and the Facebookers and the Twittites are just idiots and don't know any better? I was down in the South Bay Area visiting a young Applite, and it just seemed to me that all these tech guys and the tech H.R. and diversity enforcers are just ordinary mortals, reflexively doing what they think they are supposed to. After all, unless you were an instinctive contrarian, you would have picked up the...

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) released the following statement today on President Trump’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program: “President Trump’s decision to eliminate DACA is the wrong approach to immigration policy at a time when both sides of the aisle need to come together to reform our broken immigration system and secure the border.“I strongly believe that children who were illegally brought into this country through no fault of their own should not be forced to return to a country they do not know. The 800,000 innocent young people granted deferred...

Education and income make a difference. Nearly nine in ten Americans with a college education or income above $50,000 are able to identify Great Britain as the country from which the United States won its liberty. Of note, white Americans, 84%, are also more likely than Latino residents, 70%, or African Americans, 53%, to correctly identify Great Britain. Although race is a factor, its importance is exaggerated by differences in education and income among ethnic groups. Interestingly, age makes little difference. “Curious about other countries that get mentioned?” asks Dr. Lee M. Miringoff, Director of The Marist College Institute for...

Laughter may be the best medicine, but funnyman Al Franken needed something a bit more tragic to steer him off drugs. The "Saturday Night Live" veteran (and current U.S. senator from Minnesota) reveals in his new memoir that it wasn't until co-star John Belushi died that he realized the dangers of drugs and finally kicked his habit. Franken, 66, spent 15 years on the NBC sketch show, first as a writer, and then as a performer, and writes in his book "Al Franken, Giant of the Senate by Al Franken" that he at first only managed to get through the...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) appeared to confuse the National Rifle Association with the National Security Agency during remarks Tuesday at the Peter G. Peterson Foundation's 2017 Fiscal Summit. While being interviewed by CNN's Dana Bash, Pelosi discussed the ongoing investigation into whether there was collusion between Donald Trump's campaign and the Russians, and whether he may have obstructed justice, according to NTK Network. "To have a president say, if he did, to the director of the FBI, or the DNI, the Director of National Intelligence, or the NRA person that—um, uh, that they should not go forward,...

The fake news establishment media at CNN is at it again. Now they are attacking Fox News host Sean Hannity, smearing his reputation with a phony story about him allegedly pointing a gun at liberal Fox News contributor Juan Williams. Dylan Byers, one of the media writers at CNN who works for media industry defender Brian Stelter, printed a story on Thursday alleging: “Last year, after ending one of his many spirited on-air arguments with liberal contributor Juan Williams, Hannity pulled out a gun and pointed it directly at Williams.” Byers cited “three sources with knowledge of the incident” to...

“Microsoft this week replaced a toy gun emoji with a real revolver in an apparent need to conform to universal emoji standards.,†Nick Statt reports for The Verge. “The change, which arrived with the company’s Windows 10 Anniversary Update on Tuesday, is part of a larger emoji redesign project Microsoft embarked on months ago to refresh its library with new designs,†Statt reports. “‘It’s unclear why Microsoft felt the need to replace its old toy gun, which resembled a sci-fi space blaster, with a real firearm. It does, however, put the company at philosophical odds with Apple.â€â€œBoth companies are part...

A strong majority of Democrats would cancel the 2016 presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump if it meant President Obama could serve another term, a new poll found.Data provided to The Hill by the conservative polling outlet WPA Research found that 67 percent of Democrats would take a third term for Obama over a potential Clinton administration.Only 28 percent said they’re ready to move on from the Obama White House, while 6 percent are undecided.Obama is enjoying a surprisingly strong approval rating for a president serving out the final months of his second term.A Washington Post-ABC News survey...

Since Trump’s entirely predictable sweep of the liberal Republicans in the Eastern primaries, the conservative as well as liberal media under the banner of “Trump the Inevitable” have been endlessly repeating their wishful thinking that Cruz is officially DOA. Which brings to mind the truly hilarious spoof Cruz himself does on YouTube of the epic scene in “The Princess Bride” in which Billy Crystal as Miracle Max declares the Dread Pirate Roberts only “mostly dead.” But the Dread Pirate didn’t have the unpledged Republican Convention delegates, and Cruz just might. If the media clairvoyants who tally up delegate “projections” would...

Conservative Republicans support for Sen. Ted Cruz indicates that the conservative movement is brain dead. If Cruz is the best candidate they can find, then conservatives obviously have nothing to offer. Cruz may be the only Republican presidential aspirant who is dumber than Hillary Clinton.

Ben Carson finished dead last in South Carolina last night, as the polls predicted that he would. He did not finish last due to lack of effort, or because he was focusing on some other state where he had a better chance. By Carson's own admission, South Carolina was a state where he should have done well, and where the large evangelical population should have given him a decent chance to post a good showing. Instead, he finished behind John Kasich, a guy who spent significant portions of the last week campaigning in far flung places like Michigan. He finished...

As the state court has permitted Jahi McMath’s mother to present evidence from a doctor who has examined Jahi and believes she does not meet brain death criteria, lawyer Christopher Dolan is making a federal case out of it. From his press release: After exhausting all available avenues to work with the State Department of Vital Statistics, Alameda County Department of Public Health, County Coroner’s Office and County Counsel, to have Jahi McMath’s incomplete, and invalid death certificate (not even signed by an attesting physician) rescinded, and her basic human rights restored… The suit requests that the Federal Court order...

HOUSTON — A Texas father has been released from jail after police say he brought a gun to a hospital to stop the staff from taking his son off of life support. George Pickering II’s son was declared "brain-dead" after he suffered a massive stroke in January. The hospital ordered a "terminal wean" which is a process that slowly ends a person’s life by removing life support. The staff had even notified an organ donation organization that Pickering’s son was a donor. Pickering, however, wasn’t ready to let go — now, his son, George Pickering III, is still alive and...

This Thanksgiving, President Obama is calling for Americans to lend a helping hand to another group of pilgrims fleeing persecution. "Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims - men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families," Obama said in his weekly address Thursday. "What makes America America is that we offer that chance."

Who knew there were violent Muslims? While online, watching the French news coverage of the multi-site terrorist attacks in Paris, I scrolled down to find a most telling update: "Merkel proufoundly shocked by Paris attacks." "Profoundly shocked"? Really? Does that mean that when she first heard there had been a terrorist attack in Paris, her immediate reaction was, "Who would do a thing like that?" Perhaps that explains why she is so deeply offended that anyone would object to admitting up to a million unidentifiable Muslim refugees into her country. Europe's leadership has clearly created an alternative reality for itself,...

The brain is central to our health and sense of self, but when it comes to how it works, there is still much to be understood. Maybe you've heard that doing crossword puzzles can improve memory, that playing classical music makes babies smarter, or that drinking alcohol kills brain cells -- but are these and other common claims about the brain really true? An article in this month's issue of Popular Science seeks to separate brain facts from myths. One of the first questions that come to mind regarding the brain is how much of it we actually use. Science...

Noonan FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Email: ednoonan7@gmail.com Email: americanresistanceparty@mail.com http://www.americanresistanceparty.org ELECTING CALIFORNIA MARXIST JUDGES Walking-Brain-dead-Citizen-Zombies invading Voting Booth October 24, 2014 – This week the San Diego Free Press printed an article titled “An Abbreviated Voter Guide to Electing Judges.” You can view it here: San Diego Free Press. This rag is an extremely liberal piece of Marxist propaganda. This particular piece was written by an unknown leftist...

Colorado Sen. Mark Udall, a Democrat running in a tight re-election race, asked for a do-over during a TV interview on Friday night when he couldn't come up with the names of the three most influential books he'd ever read. 'Oh wow,' he said. 'That's the toughest – the, uh, three most influential books in my life–' Gathering his composure during a live news broadcast on 7News in Denver, he came up with one. 'Profiles in Courage. The, um, uh –.' After a three-second pregnant pause, the stumped senator asked for another chance. 'Let me think. We can play this...
