Breaking: Ted Cruz makes outrageous statement on voterless election win in Wyoming

Ted Cruz on Wyoming win: "This is how elections are won in America."

Once again, voters are not represented in the process. Instead, "votes" for the nominee are gained by backroom politics. Another corrupt process by the GOP establishment.

From Fox News:

Ted Cruz on Saturday won all 14 delegates in the Wyoming GOP convention -- a relatively small number but enough for the Texas senator to declare victory and keep GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump from securing the nomination.

“We are likely to have a battle in Cleveland to decide who is the nominee,” Cruz told party members before they picked the delegates. “If you don’t want to see Donald Trump as the nominee, … then I ask you to please vote for the men and women on this slate.”

The Wyoming process mirrored that of Colorado, which was engulfed by political controversy after hosting a similar convention last week.

Tell me this.

I'm suddenly getting a feeling that you aren't going to address my question about skewing.

How do you think this will go down if people do not vote for him. The voters in FL, VA don’t vote for him in a general and the man has only won 4 states where voters have actually gone ot the polls in primary and voted.?

The same way it will go down for Donald Trump if people don't vote for him. The man has won a majority of the vote in zero states.

Does that make cruz stronger in the general when he has only won 3 outside of his own state in your mind.

Will it make Cruz stronger when he beats Trump on the second ballot at the RNConvention?

I think you will be surprised at how quickly Ted will be pressured to leave the race after getting clobbered in the upcoming NE primaries. I am counting the days.

“But the fact is, Cruz cared more for Wyoming s delegates than Trump did. “

Hogwash.

Grown ups don’t need to be begged for their vote and Cruz doesn’t give a damn about Wyoming. His so-called ground game is nothing more than the GOP machine giving him delegates.

“The rules” like they were given by Jesus Christ from Mount Olympus or something like that.

If a populist reformer complains about non-populist processes... maybe he’s being SINCERE? ...

heard Karl Rove say this last week too, and then I heard Krystal say it, are you part of the establishment talking points?

Look the fact is that the voters where they are allowed to vote have gone for cruz 3 times outside of TX.

The rules are written by the establishment so the establishment can deny the voters their right to vote on who they want, so they can get hteir guy in.

Do you have any problem with voters not being allowed to vote for who they want or are you happy the establishment makes these rules to deny the voter?

It is exactly the same talking points by all of them on here and the same talking points I heard Rove and co say last week.

3 months ago there were a handful on here saying how they hated the establishment and cruz was anti establishment.

How time changes so quick and yet so many are so fickle.

Vichy republicans

To: GOPe Means Bend Over Spell Run

Correct...If the system is a fraud and Cruz plays by the system he’s a fraud.

Calling Trump all kind of names because he’s not going to play the fraud system is actually the argument here.

Trump’s not playing a fraud game but Cruz is and trying to justify his wins. Trump knows exactly what he could have done to pick up these delegates but he too would be playing a Fraud game and wouldn’t be any better than ESTABLISHMENT Cruz.

We now see the SHAM of the elections because Trump refuses to play fraud game against the American Voters.
Now who’s the better American here?
Fraud Cruz or “We The People” Trump?

Instead of immature attacks why not address the fact what was said and it was and has been reported by other news outlets, one link on this thread to NBC.

____________________________________________________

The whole attack on the process is immature, where were Trump’s complaints MONTHS AGO?

As to this blog it is posted anonymously. WHo is paying for this crap?

Although I can understand someone being ashamed of putting their name on this drivel.

“I am kind of amused that how Trump casts his incompetence and lack of preparation..”

Well I’m amused at how Cruzers act as if Cruz was ahead and with the nomination in the bag, when in reality he was mathematically eliminated weeks ago and right now is nothing but a dead man walking.

Why should Trump waste money trying to beat a zombie candidate too obtuse to know he is already dead. Doesn’t matter. I find Cruzers amusing. But the Cruz party will be over soon.

Vichy-vachy? :-)

At least the principle stated is the same... only the read of the situation is different.

It took this contest to put both the candidates’ worldviews to a test.

At this point, I’d say I could rely far more on Donald Trump to be populist. Ted Cruz has a model that may or may not pan out, and the most I see it, the less confident I am in it. To me, it seems at best to be putting the cart before the horse. Let’s first of all get America surviving and thriving as a country, not as a global doormat of continual existential compromise. What does it matter what the constitution gives us through the front door if we are busy shoveling it back out the back door?

“enough for the Texas senator to declare victory and keep GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump from securing the nomination.”

lie.
it was not nearly “enough”.
