Scott Walker’s spineless silence
The Washington Post ^ | February 20, 2015 | Editorial Board

Posted on 02/21/2015 1:27:31 PM PST by EveningStar

... At a private dinner Wednesday for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a likely candidate for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said: “I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up, through love of this country.”

Mr. Giuliani has dived off the deep end before, so there was nothing all that surprising in his latest poison. But as Post columnist Dana Milbank points out, his remarks presented an early test of character for Mr. Walker, and Mr. Walker failed spectacularly. At the dinner, the governor said nothing. Even the next morning, having had a night to ponder, Mr. Walker chose not to lift himself out of the Giuliani sewer. “The mayor can speak for himself. I’m not going to comment on what the president thinks or not. He can speak for himself as well,” ...

I’d like to know why no one in the media has seen fit to ask Obama to respond? Why is it incumbent upon walker who is a third party and not obama who is party to the discussion?

So what was said by Giuliani that was factually inaccurate? I’m guessing nothing. So the Compost supposedly has its panties in a wad.

This is much ado about nothing, part of the grand kabuki theatre that we go through every four years to give the illusion that we have some say about which kleptocrat will become president.

Mr. Giuliani has dived off the deep end...

...once again proving he's the only one in the GOP with the stones to say what the rest of us are thinking. Until I see the GOP reflecting my (conservative) point of view, my pocketbook is closed to the GOP. Come on...grow a pair, guys.

Walker just needs to say he was in the men’s room when Rudy made that comment.

If Obama gets a pass for being absent on the week Wright said “G.D. America”, then Walker can get a pass as well.

The lady leftist doth protest too much methinks.
This a issue has really touched a nerve. BTW - How long did it take Obama to finally speak out against Reverend Wright?

OK, did they expect Walker to jump out of his seat in red-faced, foaming-at-the-mouth fury, charge the speakers’ podium and proceed to beat Giuliani with a cane???

No, a lead pipe wrapped with razor wire. There is one God and Zero is his Prophet.

Why is Hillary not being asked by her clones in the Democrat media if she agrees with Obama that it is Americans’ fault that the Jihadis hate us? We all know the answer to that. Only Republicans have to answer for everything anyone in their party has said

Mention facts about their messiah and the media will come out to attack and give a warning to others to shut up.

Pathetic press and media again show their true colors.

Why not for the media to actually go over what Rudy said and say it is false .

Ah yes because it is the truth, He was raised by commies, brought up with a radical left wing view and blames America for everything while muslims chop heads off and burn people.

The Post is just pissed that Walker evaded the trap. Walker isn’t running against Obama.

First it was about his not having gone to college. Now they want him to step in to someone else’s mud puddle so they can cry “dirty”! He truly scares them.

Rudy backed up his OPINION with multiple examples. Why can’t thhis admin give examples of Obama’s love for the USA? All they do is attack Rudy because there ARE no examples. FUBO

We’re not at all impressed with this Romney chap.

We here at the (insert name of paper here) are a fair, open-minded, tolerant bunch, as you would expect given our elevated social status. So, when an unknown, inexperienced politician named Willard Mitt Romney had the audacity to run for president, we decided to give him a chance and hear what he had to say about his “qualifications.”

Well, Mr. Romney has been GOP nominee for president for over a month now, and frankly, we’re not all that impressed with what we have seen. Let’s look at the facts: despite Mr. Romney’s alleged business acumen, the economy is even worse now than it was when the universally-despised Mr. Bush left office. Unemployment is higher, GDP is lower and let’s not even talk about the deficit... -

Walker is signalling right from the start that’s he’s not going to play the media’s gotcha game. This is making them extremely angry.

The real issue is

Obama’s spineless silence.

No BC, no school transcipts, his existence scrubbed and replaced by some ghost written ‘memoirs’ by a domestic terrorist. What we do know is steeped in communist thought, islam, and a general malcontent view of the west. Rudy has no ‘splainin to do, because he was spot-on.
