Just ordered mine - should arrive in couple of weeks.
F**k you, Brandon.
My house, built in 1961, has had gas stove and central heating and water heater since day one. It does not have wiring for electric stove or water heater..............
This is when McCarthy, if he was a real man, would spearhead legislation making it a FELONY for ANY Federal Employee, to use, own or possess ANY Product or item that uses Natural Gas or Propane. and SHUT DOWN THE HOUSE until the Senate passes it and the Pedophile signs it.
Exactly where is the Department of Energy’s long list of successes at delivering inexpensive and reliable energy of all kinds for all needs? It never existed. The Department of Energy has failed. The solution is to shutter and defund.
Mine was built in 1998; I don’t think mine has the wiring either.
Department of Energy didn’t even exist until 1977. How did we ever survive without it? Employees : 14,382 federal civilian, 93,094 contract according to Wikipedia. I wonder what they do all day, besides think up new ways to screw things up.
FJB
He’s the “LIAR EN THIEF”.
Congress needs to halt this BS....once and for all.
This is outrageous! Those liberal celebrity chefs better wake-up!
Fire them all, as far as I am concerned. Better yet turn off all the electricity in DC. Those parasites would scurry out of DC so fast!
Gas stoves last a long time and they can be repaired. Next will there be more regulations prohibiting gas connections in new homes? Or govt subsidies for all electric?
Not happening in my household. FJB.
Just more middle manager bureaucrats administering rule changes by fiat and decree,
rather than by any legislative change.
Another bureaucratic .. 'end run'.
I bet a company will continue to make the stoves....for the wealthy.
California is already regulating (out) gas line hookups for “new construction” permits. Coming soon: New regulations for “upgrading (replacing) existing gas appliances: This is the same pattern done in plumbing and electrical meters. MANDATE “’new features” (like remote metering or remote On/Off “to prevent fires and reduce midday electrical usage”) then fore changes when an old heater is replaced.
New water heater? Need a new over pressure valve. New water heater leak basin. New vent run outside. Revised electrical hookups per “new code”!
NO ONE in this administration can think that far ahead.
The next cut will be reducing the amount of electrical wiring that can be made-———
My first house built inn 1953 had gas stove & heat & dryer.
NEVER had a problem with any of them.
Still have that gas range-—Western Holley—now selling for THOUSANDS to yuppies.
Larger oven-—space for pans & pan lids-—4 burners-—GRIDDLE IN THE MIDDLE. 42” wide—Current stove that came with house is ONLY 32” wide.
Have told my heirs to NOT sell that stove.
I have shopped for houses 4 times in my life-—Bought 3—still looking for 4th.
I NEVER would even consider an all electric home.
Power goes out-—NOTHING works.
My dryer is gas as well................
