My house, built in 1961, has had gas stove and central heating and water heater since day one. It does not have wiring for electric stove or water heater..............
Mine was built in 1998; I don’t think mine has the wiring either.
NO ONE in this administration can think that far ahead.
The next cut will be reducing the amount of electrical wiring that can be made-———
My first house built inn 1953 had gas stove & heat & dryer.
NEVER had a problem with any of them.
Still have that gas range-—Western Holley—now selling for THOUSANDS to yuppies.
Larger oven-—space for pans & pan lids-—4 burners-—GRIDDLE IN THE MIDDLE. 42” wide—Current stove that came with house is ONLY 32” wide.
Have told my heirs to NOT sell that stove.

Mine, built in 1950 was all gas, clothes dryer too. I replaced the water heater about 10 years ago with electric and can’t remember why but when it wears out, I’m going back to gas, if they’re still available by then.
