It is clear to anyone paying attention that just about every government agency can be weaponized against the people. The mere existence of government agencies is an invitation for tyranny for when Democrats are in office and a constant management issue for when Republicans restrain the deep state infesting agencies.
Exactly where is the Department of Energy’s long list of successes at delivering inexpensive and reliable energy of all kinds for all needs? It never existed. The Department of Energy has failed. The solution is to shutter and defund.

Department of Energy didn’t even exist until 1977. How did we ever survive without it? Employees : 14,382 federal civilian, 93,094 contract according to Wikipedia. I wonder what they do all day, besides think up new ways to screw things up.

I hate my electric stove. After 20 years, still have a hard time regulating the stovetop temperatures. With gas, you can actually see what’s happening. And forget about trying to fold an omelette and finish on a tilted pan.
I’ve looked at converting to gas, but I’d end up spending more on the infrastructure than the stove itself.
