V. Gene Robinson, the Episcopal bishop of New Hampshire, wrote in this newspaper on Friday that the "Christian" response to the health care debate is to support government redistribution of wealth from those who have insurance to those who do not.
John McCormack, the Roman Catholic bishop of New Hampshire, wrote in a separate op-ed column that health care is a "right" and universal coverage a moral imperative.
Both men are entirely wrong.

It is Satan's work to oppose The Obamessiah on matters pertaining to baby killing and death care.
the devil you say?
Scrod up theology as well as raising unrealistic expectations. PRIVATE charity is a Christian imperative, but that doesn't equate to a right belonging to the recipient either. Maybe since I'm not a Roman Catholic I shouldn't complain, but if I were, I'd be wondering why Rome is not calling out these obvious wolves.

V. Gene Robinson is a practicing fudgepacker. Oh, sorry — I mean, a practicing fudgepacking ACTIVIST.
That just naturally makes me suspicious about ANYTHING he might have to say regarding proper Christian behavior.
What these two bozos don’t realize is that, once Obama’s work is done, there will be no religion in this country.
McCormack was under Cardinal Law who tendered his resignation to the Vatican for coverup up gay priest molestation scandals.
'Nuff said.
Cheers!
Wrong. There will be one. Islam.
“Bishop” Robinson might take a dim view of government health care when he waits 18 months to have the latest of his countless anal infections treated at the local Osama Obama Health Clinic And Social Justice Center.
The irony in this is that socialism and religion have the same moral code ... altruism.
Good point! It could get ugly when Islam and communism collide in this country. America. We have a problem.
BUMP to the PERFECT response!
Socialism isn’t about altruism. It is about “fairness”. They take from the rich (not very altruistic) to make the poor dependant and entitled.
Religion on the other hand cares about all. They don’t rob from the rich to feed the poor. They give to the poor often sacrifically. The poor are not only fed but ministered to. In this situation, the poor are often humbled and grateful. This inspires them to turn their lives around. They in turn minister to others less fortunate.
Yep, the muzzies will be in control!
Be Ever Vigilant!
Please point out to me where Christ said "take from those who earn at the point of a sword and give it to those who do not so they will vote for you every 2 years".
My bible seems to have missed that verse.
I’m saving the mods some trouble and zotting my own comment.
If a man of the cloth had said that supporting Obama-care was Satanic, he would be condemned 24/7.
LOL read my tagline!
Can't do that, Johnnie. What I can give you is 2 Thessalonians 3:10 --
"If a man will not work, he shall not eat."
My thought is that it pertains to everything in life, not just food.
Well, that stupid remark ought to cost the Episcopal Church a few more members.
