John McCormack, the Roman Catholic bishop of New Hampshire, wrote in a separate op-ed column that health care is a "right" and universal coverage a moral imperative.

Scrod up theology as well as raising unrealistic expectations. PRIVATE charity is a Christian imperative, but that doesn't equate to a right belonging to the recipient either. Maybe since I'm not a Roman Catholic I shouldn't complain, but if I were, I'd be wondering why Rome is not calling out these obvious wolves.

V. Gene Robinson is a practicing fudgepacker. Oh, sorry — I mean, a practicing fudgepacking ACTIVIST.

That just naturally makes me suspicious about ANYTHING he might have to say regarding proper Christian behavior.

What these two bozos don’t realize is that, once Obama’s work is done, there will be no religion in this country.

Robinson is queer.

McCormack was under Cardinal Law who tendered his resignation to the Vatican for coverup up gay priest molestation scandals.

'Nuff said.

Cheers!

“Bishop” Robinson might take a dim view of government health care when he waits 18 months to have the latest of his countless anal infections treated at the local Osama Obama Health Clinic And Social Justice Center.

Dear Rev,

Please point out to me where Christ said "take from those who earn at the point of a sword and give it to those who do not so they will vote for you every 2 years".

My bible seems to have missed that verse.

If a man of the cloth had said that supporting Obama-care was Satanic, he would be condemned 24/7.

Well, that stupid remark ought to cost the Episcopal Church a few more members.

Gene Robinson the HOMO CINO (Christian in Name Only) is sure one to be talking about Satan’s work. Then again, him and Satan are probably on pretty good terms...

It's always surprising that they have non-Christians providing a "Christian" response to things...earlier Obama, now Robinson.

V. Gene Robinson

Robinson is widely known for being the first openly gay, non-celibate priest to be ordained a bishop in a major Christian denomination believing in the historic episcopate

In 2009 he was honored by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) with the Stephen F. Kolzak Media Award.

Rev. John B. McCormack, then the top church official handling the complaints for Cardinal Bernard F. Law, insisted on shielding the identities of accused priests from unsuspecting parishioners - despite the repeated pleas of his top aide who fielded complaints about more than 100 priests.

McCormack, now bishop of the Manchester, N.H., diocese, said he knew the decision ran counter to a recommendation by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops that the church be forthright with parishioners. He also said the decision was made after Sister Catherine E. Mulkerrin, his top aide and the church official who had the most contact with victims, told him he should inform parishioners about accused priests - parishioners who might have children in harm’s way.

McCormack, who was in charge of drafting Law’s 1993 policy for managing complaints of clergy abuse of minors, conceded in deposition testimony that the decision he and other church officials made to keep the identities of accused priests secret ran counter to guidelines of the bishops’ confrence, which urged officials to ‘’deal as openly as possible with the members of the community.’’

Bishop John McCormack has been criticized for the way he handled abusive priests while he was a top official in the Boston Archdiocese.

Robinson would empower the state to deny us the choice that God Himself grants us.

And he wants the state to give us a choice that God Himself forbids us. (He has already convinced his church to condone his sin.) At least he's consistent. He always puts his own desires before God's.
