Thanks To Stubborn Republicans, America Lost
http://enemieswithin.com/blog/ ^

Posted on 11/08/2006 8:34:44 AM PST by TheNewPatriot

I am referring to all you Republicans who stayed home disillusioned that you were hurting Republicans. You did, and not the ones in office, you hurt the rest of us. Because of your stupidity (especially in my state of Pennsylvania) and stubbornness we lost everything. We’ve lost the war, you’ve emboldened the terrorists (who endorsed the party you allowed to take control), dishonored our troops, raised our taxes, granted amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants, ended the border fence, added more liberal judges to the Supreme Court, increased our dependence on middle-east oil, and stuck a nail in the coffin of conservatives of ever having a chance of controlling the direction of this country.

Democrats will waste no time redistricting in order to make them bullet proof so they don’t loose power ever again. You’ve turned leadership over to a bunch of socialists who never grew up. You call yourselves Americans and you put in control of this country a party that is intellectually and morally bankrupt and totally opposite of what you believe. Explain to me in your twisted thinking how is this a win for conservatives?

And don’t give me that crap about the RINOs. They may have been bad, but not nearly as bad as what we’re going to get over the next two years and probably longer. None of it is what you so-called conservatives believe in. As far as I am concerned you’re no better than the kook left. You’ve killed America, you’ve given victory to our enemies (the Islamo Fascist that want us dead), and basically stabbed the rest of us who have a clue and have a grasp on reality in the back.

So, for you principled and morally higher Republicans who sat on your hands, thanks for nothing. You got what you wanted and definitely got what you deserve, a defeated America. Such a cost just to punish a handful that won’t even loose sleep over it.

A reminder of some of what you got. Hope you are happy and sure hope you don’t complain because this is what you wanted.

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of House,

John Murtha, Chairman of the Appropriations Committee’s Defense Subcommittee,

Steny Hoyer, Majority Leader,

Rahm Emanuel, Majority Whip,

Charles Rangel, Ways and Means Committee,

Barney Frank, Financial Services,

John Conyers, Judiciary,

Henry Waxman, Government Reform,

John Dingell, Energy and Commerce

Tag line update...

..actually, I would like to see the turnout numbers before making too harsh of a judgment that it was due to 'cut and run' Conservatives.

Who's the stupid one who keeps bringing back an idiot like your RINO senator?

Get real. We all have enemies we get along with better than him.

The United States WILL survive this bump in the road (and it is a big one)...it just means that the cost now is going to be much higher.

I like George Washington's take and believe his wisdom will ultimately apply:

"No country upon earth ever had it more in its power to attain blessings. Much to be regretted indeed would it be, were we to depart from the road which Providence has pointed us to, so plainly; I cannot believe it will ever come to pass. The Great Governor of the Universe has led us too long and too far to forsake us in the midst of it. We may, now and then, get bewildered; but I hope and trust that there is good sense and virtue enough left to recover the right path. " - George Washington

We are in one of those times when we have become "bewildered". God help us, for the sake of all those who hold fast to the founding principles this nation was based upon, and upon which she rests to this day, find our path once again.

the party you allowed to take control

The Libertarians and "real conservatives" deny, deny, deny, but that's the phrase that pays.

They allowed the Dems to take control by taking out their anger in this way.

Brace for "The Republicans MADE us allow the Democrats to take control!" posts...

Bullshit. America lost because of apathetic Republican voters. 40% turnout is mind boggling.

I'm waiting to see a good analysis on how many 'R's voted for 'D's that put on a quasi-Conservative mask (like Webb) as well as comparing that 40% to previous elections..

Way to pull us all together for 08.

With upbeat republicans like you on board I just KNOW we'll win!

granted amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants, ended the border fence,

12 million is the official gov't estimate, which I wouldn't trust. I'd say we're looking at around 25 million new voters (and their rabbit-like breeding habits), the vast majority of them new Donkeys. ....which doesn't bode well for the future of the GOP.

What about the Republicans who voted for--and endorsed-- Democrats? Worse than the stay-at-home folks.

Wrong! The biggest winner in all of this is the MSM.

I haven't decided which I dislike worse, Republicans who were duped by dems faking being Conservative or Republicans who 'teach lessons' through apathy...

Why do so many FReepers blame the MSM, the voters etc.. The blame lies withs with the Republican leadership and they should take responsibility.....hell, I've voted straight line Repub since 1976 and I did again yesterday....but I'll tell you....I am really pissed at how they handled just about everything.....I"m still a loyal Repub and voted such, but in Bush's 2nd term, and holding all both houses and the Pres.....all they did was worry about their power and failed to do a hell of alot in the last two years.. I still support them....but THEY are not the reform party that came in in 1994 anymore....nor the Reagan party that I really miss.....We need to get back to our roots....I don't even mind compromising on some things here and there..but hell, we have to do something....and next time.....I think some of those guys should stay the hell away from the BS of an Abramhoff etc.....
....It is like being pissed off at your spouse or friends. You still love them but sometimes you have to lay down the law.......just my two cents.....

Not me. I voted straight Republican down the line like my life depended on it. Plus, I sent in a couple of contributions.

This may not be the end of the world or Western civilization, but it's going to be close.

The Dhimi craps, Dim o craps are the end of the world, especially Hillary.

A screed of pure, unadulterated, 100 percent, far-right playbook foolishness. Our guys' policies and arrogance caused the disaster; and, we deserve it!
