Fish becoming transgender from contraceptive pill chemicals being flushed down household drains
UK Telegraph ^ | July 2, 2017 | Sophie Jamieson

A fifth of male fish are now transgender because of chemicals from the contraceptive pill being flushed down household drains, a study by has suggested.  Male river fish are displaying feminised traits and even producing eggs, the study found. Some have reduced sperm quality and display less aggressive and competitive behaviour, which makes them less likely to breed successfully.

It was proven a decade ago.

Here’s the research paper:

Not the first time that science has found lower-order animals that change sex due to environmental conditions.

Calling this “transgender” is a deliberate attempt to manipulate us using language. Transgender means a human who deludes himself into thinking he/she/it has changed sex. This is not transgender.

Years back I saw someone finally ask environmentalists about the impact that synthetic estrogens were having on fish & amphibian populations.

The reaction was “Yeah, it’s definitely having an effect, but there’s nothing we can do, we can’t ask people to give that up.”

Lightbulbs, toilets, foods, life-saving insecticides, but goodness no, not The Almighty Pill!!!!

A thought that just occurred to me...is part of the extreme divide between urban and rural in this country due to what’s in our water? It’d be an interesting hypothesis to test. Judging by the amphibian biota in my backyard, we are clean as a whistle up here. :)

Yes indeed. For boys raised by single moms, they observe the female role as powerful and with no ‘father’ or male role model, they ‘list’ toward the mother’s tastes in appearance etc.,

Not sure when female children desire to trans to boys. Perhaps being raised by gay men or women. As you noted Parenting is the all consuming influence, NOT their school friends.

This psychology surely does need more study.

They've done groundwater studies in CA and LA (as well as a couple of Midwestern states, I can't remember which ones) that show the estrogen from Birth Control pills is now extremely common in ground water, too. From ground water, they transfer directly into crops, some types of crop retaining them more than others.

Look around the web, you'll find that the increase in estrogen in water is a factor in the declining fertility rates in men. A lot of people reject any connection between Birth Control and abortion even though the bedspread size paper that comes with Birth Control pills (used to come with them? I haven't seen a monthly BC pill pack since the mid-seventies) says the primary method of preventing birth is by making the womb a hostile environment for a fertilized egg, not by preventing fertilization.

IMHo, it's a case of "God is not mocked". Claim to be a "Christian nation" while winking at abortion caused by BC pills then rail against abortion and you end up with a nation of people who can't reproduce at replacement rate much less at a rate that would grow the population. Stretch "equality" to the breaking point by using it as an excuse to accept all sorts of perversion and anti-Christ frauds like Islam, you end up with a nation without any concern for moral consequences because it no longer has any moral compass.

That's how God usually does things, giving people in error exactly what they're desperately trying to get whether it's consequence free sex or a terminally trendy Pope matched to Hesburg and Murry specifications that doesn't embarrass the PC money crowd in front of their Christian in Name Only non-Catholic friends.

A great deal of human behavior is intertwined in subtle ways most people never consider or that they don't understand. When the majority of the population is off kilter in something small the majority thinks doesn't matter, chances are that they're setting society up for a collapse of the things they do think matter.

Why are people dumping birth control pills down the sink? And how many? Strange story. How about steroids? Are fish getting huge muscles?

I read in the paper that municipal wastewaters are a complex mixture containing estrogens and estrogen mimics cause unintended mutations of the male, unlike what they did with Chelsea Manning and Kaitlin Jenner.

Not from the pills being flushed.

From the urine of tens of millions of women on the pill being flushed, as it contains the same hormones.

If some species we really valued (pricey racehorses, pedigreed dogs) were as sexually disoriented and reproductively dysfunctional as the rising (human) generation, we'd be aghast.

"My God, what have we done! I can't get these Samoyeds to mate and breed! What the hell's in the water?!"

But since it's just our own miserable, confused kids -- and we're not willing to keep the xenoestrogens out of the water supply --- we prefer to view their pathological gender incoherence as a distinctive personal sense of style.

It's not that women are dumping birth control pills down the sink. They're peeing hormone-contaminated urine: and not natural hormones, such as would break down rapidly at the wastewater treatment plant or in the biosphere, but artificial hormones such as biologically reconcentrate in key organs and nudge testes into ovary-like development. Of course, it tweaks brain development as well.

The subtle effects on males in very early developmental stages might not be observable til years later.

No chance, my friend. Berkeley doesn't want to hear about downstream effects of birth control hormones and other xenoestrogens.

Besides. There are no bad effects. None. None whatsoever.

It's settled science,

***There needs to be some qualified research on transgenderism in young children. It is very disturbing to witness and seems to be a recent, modern day trend.***

Umm, there has been some qualified research done already by the esteemed Dr. Paul McHugh from Johns Hopkins. His study started in the 70s (I think) and followed patients for over 20 years. The left doesn’t like his take, so he has been booted out. Transgenderism is a mental illness.

The recent, modern day trend is such that having a child be transgendered is “cool” and puts a spotlight on people who want their 15 minutes of fame.

It is in their urine.

Of course that raises the question, as these hormones are what the body produces naturally when it is pregnant and there use to be many more pregnant females and animals peeing in the water with no filtration at all why didn't this happen in the past?

Was it happening and no one noticed?

Or is this study an "orange pop" study?
