It's not that women are dumping birth control pills down the sink. They're peeing hormone-contaminated urine: and not natural hormones, such as would break down rapidly at the wastewater treatment plant or in the biosphere, but artificial hormones such as biologically reconcentrate in key organs and nudge testes into ovary-like development. Of course, it tweaks brain development as well.

The subtle effects on males in very early developmental stages might not be observable til years later.

And I assume we are all also drinking antibiotics and pain medication and all sorts of prescriptions. Why single out birth control?

Testosterone levels have dropped 30% in the last 30 years and more than 40% in the last 70 years. A 35 year old man today has the testosterone level that a 65 year man had a generation ago.

If the decline continues at it's current rate of approximately 1% per year we will soon have no men.
