I guess it’s too much to hope that my disheveld, ravaged-by-time body will be displayed in some museum thousands of years from now, long after the worms are finished with it. I mean, if they can’t even find Julius Caesar anymore...
I once saw the 1800 year old remains of a Peruvian woman on display in a museum in Mannheim Germany. I wondered what she would have thought about her (possibly) final resting place and how unlikely such an eventuality would have seemed to her in her lifetime.
His name was Rocky?
He was cremated.
He did? Then he must have gotten up and walked out long before the pictures were taken since he’s not in any of them.
Oh. You know, speakng of Julius Caesar, I heard an interesting statistic once. Don’t know if you’ve heard it. A breath of air contains about 10^22 molecules of air. There are about 10^44 molecules in the atmosphere, which is 10^22 x 10^22.
And that means for every breath you take, you breathe one molecule (on average) from Julius Caesar’s dying breath.
And this has other implications as well. Every breath you take contains about one molecule from every other breath of every other human who ever lived. Not total breaths, of course, since that continues growing with each human born, living, and dying.
I guess I just had to get that off my chest.

Probably never even thought about it. And likely doesn’t care by now.
Imagine how many urinary tracts “freshwater” has run through from dinosaurs onward, lol.
Well I guess it didn’t have to be Julius Caesar exactly...
The thought has occurred to me. But molecularly speaking (look, I made up a phrase), water is still just water. Once separated from the impurities, it’s just that. The ISS has a water reclamation system, by the way. Although you’re technically drinking most of your own pee, water is still just water. Doesn’t matter where it came from since that has no bearing on its chemical makeup.

Of the CO2 we exhale, probably exactly none of it will ever be inhaled again, apart from that inhaled by those standing nearby when we exhale, because it will be recycled by photosynthesis, separating the O from the C.

OK, so let me exchange the term molecule for atom, then. I’m not sure what that does with the 10^22 count however. Probably not much since the atmosphere is mostly nitrogen.
