On January 13, 2024, more than a thousand people led by A. J. Hurley of the White Rose Resistance, a Christian activist group, gathered in Miller Park in Fontana, California to rally in favor of parents’ rights. They demanded that the Fontana school district adopt a parent notification policy in which children could not be socially transitioned without parental consent. They also called out Planned Parenthood for its sex education curricula related to sexual identity. After rallying in the park, the crowd marched through the streets of Fontana in a noisy but orderly demonstration.

More than 1,000 people took to the grassy area in front of the Miller Park Amphitheater in Fontana on Saturday, Jan. 13, to protest against school district policies they say socially transition children without parental consent. The crowd waved signs calling for an end to abortion and proclaiming their rights as parents to be involved in their children’s lives. Several American flags peaked over the heads of the crowd decked in T-shirts with sayings such as “Leave Our Kids Alone” in large bold letters as a Christian worship band opened the rally. The rally and march Saturday joined a growing...

Assisted suicide is the ultimate slippery slope. Time and time again, proponents use heart-wrenching stories of people suffering through pain and anguish as they endure incurable or terminal illnesses, and use these as examples of why we need, as they call it, “death with dignity.” But leaving aside the awful notion of suicide being more dignified than dying a natural death, this never remains the line when it comes to assisted suicide. The parameters get changed and stretched, and the line gets moved further and further. Now, healthy people are being euthanized… solely because of mental illness. In the Netherlands,...

However, he says, “what does worry me is the increase in the number of times euthanasia was performed on dementia patients, from 12 in 2009 to 141 in 2016, and on chronic psychiatric patients, from 0 to 60.” He recounts some of the horrific cases of patients of advanced dementia being euthanized without consent, such as one woman whose coffee was drugged, and who when she tried to struggle was held down by her family, and another where a husband mixed sleep medication in the porridge of his demented wife before the GP arrived with his deadly syringe. He describes...

A Dutch euthanasia doctor has been rebuked by a Regional Review Committee after she gave a lethal injection to a demented patient who appeared to be struggling to stop the procedure. The incident emerged when the Regional Review Committee released euthanasia case reports on January 1. This was Verdict 2016-85. Here is what happened. An 80-year-old woman with dementia entered a nursing home because her husband could no longer care for her. When the woman was still lucid she expressed two wishes: (a) not to go into a "home for demented elderly" and (b) to be euthanised "when I myself...

Terri's Day and nation's independence protects life culture Kevin Fobbs May 29, 2006 America's Culture of Life is truly the legacy of one woman whose death forever changed our nation because of actions that were not in her hands but in those of her husband and his lawyers. Yet for millions of Americans we will forever link our own celebration of our nation's independence to the courage of the Schindler family to go forward past the tragedy, past the personal sorrow, past the searing anguish to help America draw a distinct line in the sand, to issue a clarion call...

Terri's Day needs financial support: Battle cry for culture of life success Kevin Fobbs May 1, 2006 In America, we put a price on everything except on life and the right to live. In the last couple months I have been told that a life once over is done, finished, kaput... not essential because it's over. When you probe a little deeper about what if it was their life which was treated with such indifference, or what if their little son or daughter were murdered right in front of nearly 300 million onlookers and literally torn from their loving embrace...

Terri's Day challenges the nation to unify Kevin Fobbs March 13, 2006 Terri's Day — A Celebration of the Culture of Life honoring Terri Schiavo with a day of remembrance challenges each and every one of us to stop for a moment and ask ourselves a question, do we respect ourselves, our families, our lives? And if we are faced with the question of the possible certainty of death, does anyone truly know, or even have the faintest clue about, our wishes? That is the greatest good, the greatest legacy that Terri Schiavo's death and an annual "Terri's Day" can...
