I'm feeling a bit Onion-y today and consequently I must offer a explanation–a theory–about what we are seeing these days in this hallucinogenic political season. Now that Donald Trump has taken the lead in the latest Fox poll, it’s time to call this perverse reality show for what it really is. Trump is working for his friend Hillary Clinton’s landslide election.

With the understanding that I will get hammered by the Trump supporters on this page, I have some questions for you about your candidate: First, WHY do you support Trump? Is it only because he talks tough? Do you have HISTORY to prove he means what he says on this issue? Second: Other than screaming about illegal immigration (he is right about it), talking about bombing oil fields and that Persians are smooth negotiators, WHAT other issues does he understand? On what other issues is he Conservative? Third: Who do all of you expect Trump to choose for the SCOTUS?...

Billionaire, reality star, and perennial possible candidate for a series of political jobs Donald J. Trump isn't quite sure how congressional leadership works, but he definitely thinks Sen. Mitch McConnell should be in charge of something. Trump dipped his toes into the close Senate race in Kentucky between incumbent McConnell and Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes. The problem is, he nominated McConnell for a job he probably doesn't want — speaker of the House:The Senate, the body McConnell is in, has a majority leader. That's Democrat Harry Reid's job. The leader of the majority party in the House is the speaker....

Donald Trump is trolling the GOP. The real-estate mogul vaulted into the top tier of Republican presidential candidates by becoming a megaphone for immigration hard-liners. That's revealed an ugly truth that party leaders have been trying to suppress in their pursuit of Latino voters: Anti-Hispanic bigotry plays well with a chunk of the Republican primary electorate. Mexican immigrants are "bringing drugs and bringing crime, and they're rapists," he said last month. On Saturday, at a rally in Phoenix that had to be moved to the city's convention center to accommodate the crowd, Trump "tripled down," as Politico put it. "They’re...

Donald Trump appears to have deleted a tweet he quoted that made questionable comments about Jeb Bush and his wife. On July 4th, Trump quoted another users tweet which claimed to know why Bush likes “Mexican illegals.” The tweet appeared to be live for 24 hours before Trump deleted it. Bush’s wife, Columbia, is Mexican.

In response to the chorus of critics who attacked her after she announced she was pregnant, Bristol Palin posted a follow up blog post titled “My Little Blessing,†affirming her strong pro-life beliefs and clarifying some of the misrepresentations being made about her. [...] “None of us are perfect,†she continued, before explaining that the baby had been planned with her former fiance before the relationship ended: I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was...

Just days after announcing her second pregnancy out of wedlock, mama bear Bristol Palin was back on the defensive, addressing the wave of critics who have called the former abstinence advocate a hypocrite in a blistering blog post. “I have never been paid as an ‘abstinence spokesperson,'” she said, although RadarOnline.com has learned she earned more than $300,000 spreading that very message. ...

[...] Bristol Palin announced via her blog that she is pregnant. The 24-year old already has a son after choosing life in 2008 and becoming a teen mother. Now, she’s expecting again and once again she is unmarried. And? [...] Let’s call it what it really is. This is just another case of the haters waiting for someone they already hate to have a problem so they can go after them full throttle. They’re loaded for (mama grizzly) bear. [...] Others are upset about how Palin’s pregnancy could affect a potential run for office by her mother. Really? We’ve elected...

Bristol Palin is pregnant and this is news. The 24-year-old daughter of former vice presidential candidate and “SNL” punching bag Sarah Palin has spent the last seven years since her mom’s failed bid for the White House making abstinence (and holiness in general) her personal and very profitable cause celeb. In 2008, 17-year-old Palin’s unplanned teen pregnancy threatened to derail her mom’s White House hopes. But her potentially embarrassing narrative quickly turned to one of resilience and the reality shows followed. Palin appeared on season 11 of “Dancing with the Stars” and in her own Lifetime docu-series, “Bristol Palin: Life’s...

Sarah Palin's 24-year-old daughter revealed on Thursday that she is pregnant with her second child, and it sounds like it wasn't planned. Interestingly, Bristol does not reveal who the father of her unborn child is.

The newly minted Republican presidential candidacy of billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump has elicited an on-air chuckle from Jeb Bush, and expressions of horror from conservative pundits George Will and Charles Krauthammer. But Trump has one fan likely to dismay Republican unease at his running. Sarah Palin is a big fan of “the Donald.” http://blog.seattlepi.com/seattlepolitics/2015/06/18/donald-trump-for-president-finds-a-fan-sarah-palin/

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin praised Jeb Bush on Monday, highlighting his remarks on raising children with special needs. The comments from Palin, who remains a favorite with some grassroots conservatives, come a day after Bush’s official entry to the presidential race. “It was encouraging today to hear Governor Jeb Bush speak directly to an issue that touches so many lives in these challenging times, both culturally and fiscally – raising a child with special needs,” Palin wrote on her Facebook page. “I'm glad Jeb's life was touched by God's purpose-filled children, and hope he continues with a positive message...

Ted Cruz would make a great President. Cruz is a patriot and an expert on the US constitution. He has made freedom-loving Americans happy with his attacks on ObamaCare, and his call to abolish the IRS. But he is obviously not an expert on everything, and does not seem to know much about music and the demographics associated with music. Cruz recently said: "...I grew up listening to classic rock, and I’ll tell you sort of an odd story: My music taste changed on 9/11. And it’s very strange. I actually intellectually find this very curious. But on 9/11, I...

Have you ever followed a link to the source article and found a dedicated troll attempting to disrupt the thread? My suggestion is this, ask the respondents to please refrain from commenting back. If you ignore the progressive anus, they tend to go away so as I like to post just beneath the spouting rectum`s written diarrhea: DON`T FEED THE TROLLS. Maybe some will get the hint!

Nostalgia, The Good Old Days – Who Needs Them? America needs a visionary for the future! During the past, and recent presidential election we hear the all too familiar suggestion of “returning to the good old days.” Every candidate talk about returning America to a sense of values. I don’t know about you but each time I hear, or heard that suggestion I get a little queasy in the stomach accompanied by a little bewilderment, confusion, and absolute disgust! Whenever I hear the suggestion I often wonder exactly what period in time they want to take us back to! Could...

Roll on. Roll on. Mighty Thunder. Make the rumble drown out the lies. Make the light outshine the darkness. Feel the hunger of the people; Feel the anger of the people; Feel the power of the people; Who hear your message as you roll. Who join in spirit as you roll. Our founding documents declare We are one nation under God, A nation indivisible. Feel the unity of the people; Feel the patriotism grow; Feel the kindred spirit renew As you roll on. Sarah. Roll on. As the mighty thunder rolls on. Politicians and reporters They tremble as they watch...

COL John “Jack” Sallee was a good man. Witty, charming, and decisive, he had a way of cutting through the BS. He was my Commanding Officer in the Army. I was sorry to hear of his passing. He prominently displayed a sign on the wall of his office in the headquarters building. Perhaps it was a warning to his troops, but I think it was an endearing, sort of self-deprecating reminder. In big, bold letters it read: “DON’T DO DUMB THINGS”. It was simple, eloquent, and said it all—good advice for all of us. I wish Sarah Palin had met...

Leading pro-life activists are denouncing the murder of Kansas abortion doctor George Tiller, but I'm not sure I understand why. "It is immoral and it is unchristian," says the Rev. Rob Schenck of the National Clergy Council. Calling the killing "a cowardly act," Operation Rescue President Troy Newman says his group "has worked tirelessly on peaceful, nonviolent measures to bring [Tiller] to justice through the legal system, the legislative system....We are pro-life, and this act was antithetical to what we believe." Yet if you honestly believe abortion is the murder of helpless children, it's hard to see why using deadly...
