Most people know my name, George Zimmerman, largely due to negative stereotypes propagated by the media as a result of the 2012 incident in Sanford, Florida, in which Trayvon Martin died. Unfortunately, most people don’t recall the fact that I was exonerated of any wrongdoing after a thorough investigation by the Sanford Police Department in March 2012. They had interviewed dozens of witnesses, analyzed 911 calls, and examined the physical evidence of my broken nose, the lacerations on the back of my head, as well as the bruised knuckles of my assailant.

More than seven years after he fatally shot their unarmed teen son, George Zimmerman is coming after Trayvon Martin’s parents — for millions of dollars. The neighborhood watch volunteer is suing Martin’s parents and others for $100 million in a proceeding filed Wednesday in Polk County, Fla. Zimmerman was acquitted of a second-degree murder charge in 2013, but the suit contends the only reason he was charged in the first place was due to testimony from a “fake witness” — Rachel Jeantel, who at one point was identified as Eugenia Diamond, a nickname — but who the lawsuit alleges are...

George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer acquitted of homicide charges in the 2012 fatal shooting of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, is suing Martin’s family, prosecutors and others involved in the case he claims rested on false evidence, according to a copy of the suit sent to the media Wednesday. Zimmerman is represented by Larry Klayman, a high-profile legal crusader tied to conservative causes and the founder of Judicial Watch before splitting with the activist group. Big media balks at the term "fake news," insisting that they honestly and accurately report the news of the day. Those paying attention to the news can cite numerous examples of fake news, either deliberate misinformation or laziness on the part of reporters. Joel Gilbert, in his book and film of the same name, The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America, describes one of the biggest examples of “fake news” in modern times: that the prosecution’s key witness in the trial of George Zimmerman was in imposter. Joel demonstrated a long-lost art, investigative journalism, and he did...

"A Mother of the Movement to prevent gun violence, @SybrinaFulton has already helped turn tragedy into action," tweeted Hillary Clinton on Sept. 27. "Now she's running for office as a Miami-Dade County Commissioner, District 1" Hillary continued. "If you can, contribute to help her win and make the change we need." This tweet followed by a week the premier at the National Press Club in Washington of Joel Gilbert's new film, "The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud That Divided America." In the film, and in the accompanying book of the same name, Gilbert proves beyond any doubt, reasonable or...

What might America be like today if a surprise witness had not turned the investigation of the tragic 2012 death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida, into a racially charged case that gripped the nation, spawning Black Lives Matter and setting the narrative in similar cases that followed of a nation plagued by systemic racism in law enforcement? Filmmaker Joel Gilbert asks that question in a new documentary, "The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America," because through old-fashioned, shoe-leather, investigative journalism he's discovered compelling evidence that the star witness America heard in the Trayvon Martin trial,...

After a painstaking investigation into the Trayvon Martin shooting, I have produced a film and written a companion book, both called The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America. Only after I started the project did I realize I had stumbled onto the most spectacular case of identity fraud in modern American judicial history. Thanks to the folks at American Thinker for allowing me to reveal it here for the first time. I had originally set out to produce a documentary about the rise of 2018 Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. The more I looked into Gillum’s success,...

On Monday. September 16, Joel Gilbert will preview his new documentary, “The Trayvon Hoax,” in the 500-seat Ballroom of the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The screening begins at 1 p.m. Admission is free, and Gilbert is encouraging all interested parties to come see for themselves what could be a game-changer in the way the media report racially-charged news. Gilbert’s findings are that significant. Having written a book on the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin — If I Had a Son-- I have been following Gilbert’s progress with interest. In fact, I introduced Gilbert to George Zimmerman, the...

Interview by Matt Mallory George Zimmerman and Matt Mallory: He agreed, and we spent months trying to get our schedules to match up for that phone call. So I am posting this in chat because I don't have a specific source--just a general observation of the media and "activists" in Florida. You recall the murders at the Marjory Stoneman school a little over a year ago. The new Florida governor removed Scott Israel, the sheriff of Broward, for his failures on that day. Governor Ron DeSantis then appointed Gregory Tony. Sheriff Tony has spent 12 years as a cop with Coral Springs. He has also worked for the Florida Highway Patrol and the Department of Corrections. He has a masters degree in criminal justice. He is not...

In what may be the most reckless bit of leftist posturing yet, billionaire multimedia mogul Jay-Z has none too subtly asked his followers to kill George Zimmerman, the man acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin five years ago. Jay-Z apparently added a line to a new release by the hip-hop artist Drake. “I got your president tweeting/I won't even met with him/Y'all killed X and let Zimmerman live/Streets is done.” “X” refers to rapper XXXTentacion who was gunned down in South Florida last week. “Drake” was trending on Twitter Friday morning as was “Scorpion” as was “Zimmerman.” The...
