So I am posting this in chat because I don't have a specific source--just a general observation of the media and "activists" in Florida.
You recall the murders at the Marjory Stoneman school a little over a year ago. The new Florida governor removed Scott Israel, the sheriff of Broward, for his failures on that day.
Governor Ron DeSantis then appointed Gregory Tony. Sheriff Tony has spent 12 years as a cop with Coral Springs. He has also worked for the Florida Highway Patrol and the Department of Corrections. He has a masters degree in criminal justice. He is not a slouch. He also happens to be a registered Democrat and a black man.
No matter. He was appointed by a conservative Republican. Sheriff Tony replaced a liberal gun grabbing Democrat, Scott Israel.
Repeatedly in the weeks since Tony took over, the media complex ("journalists", Democrats, and "activists") have suddenly found a reason to find things to be OUTRAGED about in Broward county. Here are some of the things percolating:
a. Kids gather for a fight after school at McDonald's. Cops show up, one kid gets taken down by police while a nearby young man tries to grab the kid's phone...aka "evidence". The police take him down. Of course it wasn't in a gentle manner...and cops arrest the kid on three charges. LeBron James tweets about it, and Trayvon Martin attorney Benjamin Crump rolls into town, the media complex goes ballistic...and the Broward county prosecutor DROPS THE CHARGES on the kid.

Some even call for Gregory Tony to be fired. NAALCP plans to hold a press conference.
b. Liberal legislator is blasting the Broward sheriff's office for using what HE thinks is "solitary confinement" too much....and is introducing a bill to TELL the cops they can NO LONGER ISOLATE DANGEROUS PRISONERS OR INMATES.

c. Violent and angry suspect is handcuffed to a hospital bed as he is about to receive treatment. Broward deputy tells him to sit back. When suspect doesn't, cop slugs him and puts him completely on the bed. Media complex goes cuckoo.

There may or may not be a problem with these situations. LEOs should not be allowed to abuse their power.
My point is that the media complex generally didn't freak out over incidents like these when Scott Israel was in power.
The groundwork is being laid, in my opinion, for the media complex to use these instances and others as an attack on the man appointed by Governor DeSantis.

I don’t think they freaked out about anything Israel did because, he didn’t do anything.
He was nothing more than a political hack, who had power and was trying to parlay that position and power to other things. And if you’re that kind of leader, your subordinates aren’t going to do their jobs particularly well or enthusiastically because they know they’ll be thrown under the bus at the first sign of trouble.

Well he DID hire a PC Muslim as his underling. So there’s SOMETHING he did, not good however.
I thought Israel was a muslim, as well. Or maybe just one of those muslim apologists, trying to appease the savages.

If the new Sheriff continues being tough on perps, he’ll gain popular support. Ferals need taking down.

Why start a post this way?
The demon rat party must destroy any possibility of comity between the races in Florida else they will once again lose that state in 2020. Sadly, Floridians remain clueless.
