The Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) announced that loading and unloading operations at all 29 West Coast ports would temporarily be suspended this weekend in response to union slowdowns that brought freight movements at the ports to a near standstill. On Monday of this week, Democrats in North Carolina clearly violated North Carolina state law in their efforts to turn out the vote for Barack Obama. At roughly 10 a.m., two vans of students who worked at the North Carolina Jobs Corps location in Oconoluftee were transported from that location to the Swain County Board of Education one-stop voting location in order to cast their votes. Russian Helicopter subsidiary Rostvertol JSC has delivered another Mi-26TC heavy transport helicopter to China. The delivered aircraft was the third Mi-26TC sold to China under an agreement with China's Lectern Aviation Supplies Co. Ltd. The helicopter is scheduled to serve in one of the fire-hazardous regions of China, Russian Helicopter said in a news release from an international air exhibition in Zhuhai.
