Wednesday night at York University in Toronto, members of the group Students Against Israeli Apartheid (SAIA) assaulted Jewish students attempting to attend a pro-Israel event at the university. A group of Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) reservists came to York to speak to students and the public about their experiences in the army. This simple act caused the anti-Israel group on campus to conduct a “no killers on campus” campaign in which they not only disrupted the event but attempted to smear the reputation of multiple IDF soldiers by photoshopping them into violent situations. Many protestors yelling in the hallways to...

Approves of inclusion of gender ideology On Nov. 7, 2019, the Toronto Catholic District School Board — Canada's largest Catholic school board, forming more than 90,000 Catholic children annually — voted to add transgender ideology as a protected ground for non-discrimination into its code of conduct. The 12-member, elected board of trustees passed the anti-Christian motion by a vote of 8 to 4, which added the terms "gender identity" and "gender expression" as protected classes that must be "respected" throughout the school environment. Campaign Life Coalition has been following this tragic situation closely, and in fact, we've been lobbying His...

Sportsnet has confirmed that Don Cherry has been fired from Hockey Night in Canada over recent remarks that caused uproar. Cherry, 85, had singled out new immigrants in Toronto and Mississauga, Ont., where he lives, for not honouring Canada’s veterans and dead soldiers. “You people … you love our way of life, you love our milk and honey, at least you can pay a couple bucks for a poppy or something like that,” Cherry said Saturday night. “These guys paid for your way of life that you enjoy in Canada, these guys paid the biggest price.” In a statement issued...

TORONTO — The Toronto Public Library is coming under fire over its refusal to cancel an event featuring a speaker who believes transgender rights endanger women, with several authors vowing to boycott the institution’s events in light of its decision. An online petition that had gathered more than 2,500 signatures by Wednesday afternoon says the library is providing a platform for Meghan Murphy to spread hate speech. The petition, started by authors Alicia Elliott, Catherine Hernandez and Carrianne Leung, says the publishing professionals who sign it will no longer participate in events at the library if the talk is allowed...

Canada: 74-year-old Muslim screams “Hitler, please come back and kill all the Jews” at Toronto Walk with Israel SEP 9, 2019 3:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER Celebrate diversity! The Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247);...

What to expect if your town opens a Chick-Fil-A:Everyone with a gripe against the imperfect world - drag queens, animal rights “activists” and pretty much every other leftist identity group – will show up with “Cluck Off” signs, make a spectacle of themselves while marching and lying on the ground shouting "Shame! Shame! Shame!"Toronto’s die-in – which somebody pointed out was just a huge fake, as every single one of them got up and walked away unharmed at the end of the protest - was led by drag queens and animal activists. “Get a closeup already, I’ve got another gig...

The grand opening of Chick-fil-A’s first international location in Toronto was met by a grand protest Friday by LGBTQ activists, who argued that the chicken-centric chain owner’s historically antigay policies will clash with the culture of Canada's largest city. Protestors caused a commotion as soon as the restaurant opened its doors at 10:30 a.m., chanting “shame” and “cluck you,” CBC News reports. "Hey hey, ho ho, Homophobia's got to go,” activists can be heard shouting in video shared to Twitter by BlogTo.

A protest is planned against the Chick-fil-A restaurant chain which is opening a location in the heart of Toronto on Friday. The U.S.-based company has made international headlines since 2012 for its anti-LGBTQ stances and promotion of conservative Christian beliefs. The company believes in “biblical definition” of marriage between a man and a woman and groups have uncovered tax filings where Chick-fil-A’s charitable arm made millions in donations to organizations opposed to gay rights. Some of the organizations that have received charitable donations from Chick-fil-A have been labelled as “hate groups” by the Southern Poverty Law Centre, an Alabama-based legal...

TORONTO -- Justin Verlander took the mound for the ninth inning, fully aware of the no-hitters he had finished -- and his near misses, too. Zeroed in, he wouldn't be denied this time. Verlander pitched his third career no-hitter, punctuating a dominant season by striking out 14 to lead the Houston Astros past the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0 on Sunday.

Two Middle East immigrants in the United States have been arrested in connection with terrorist activities after the FBI found out their chilling ties to the terrorist organization known as Hezbollah. This is a wake-up call to every American. In recent years, Hezbollah has stepped up its activities beyond Lebanon’s borders. This uptick has been clearest in the Middle East—in Iraq, Yemen, and especially Syria—but plots have also been thwarted in South America, Asia, Europe, and now, possibly, the United States. Reports of Hezbollah activity in North America are not new, though such reporting tends to focus on the group’s fundraising, money laundering, procurement, or other logistical activities from Vancouver to Miami. But last month, the criminal prosecution and conviction in New York of the Hezbollah operative Ali Kourani revealed disturbing new information about the extent of Hezbollah’s operations...

Toronto: Church provides space for event honoring “Palestinian” terrorist responsible for jihad massacre JUL 7, 2019 11:00 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine is ostensibly a Communist organization, but it is wholly aligned with the jihad force. Ghassan Kanafani was responsible for the murder of 17 Christians, as well as eight Israelis, but that doesn’t matter to the Trinity-St. Paul’s United Church. Being woke is ultimately a suicidal act, but at least the members of Trinity-St. Paul’s can congratulate themselves that they were never “racist” when their own time comes and their jihadi friends...

Tiffani Adams said she fell asleep while flying from Quebec to Toronto on 9 June. When she woke up, she was freezing cold and still buckled into her seat, but the aircraft was parked. Ms Adams managed to call her friend Deanna Dale to let her know where she was when her phone died less than a minute into the call. She was unable to charge her phone as the plane had been shut down. Ms Dale called Toronto Pearson Airport and told them of Ms Adams' whereabouts. While she was on board, Ms Adams managed to locate a torch...

I recently visited Toronto on a short vacation and enjoyed the city and the experience immensely. Toronto is clean, safe, and livable. The people are friendly, and by all indicators, the city is booming. It is a civil, seemingly very well run city populated by a diverse set of people. Nearly fifty percent of Toronto's population is foreign-born, and the city has a distinct multicultural character. The new arrivals have contributed to a growth rate that recently resulted in Toronto having a larger population than Chicago. Why does Toronto seem to work on a civic level so much better than...
