The 39 million N95 masks the Service Employees International Union announced it had discovered turned out to be an elaborate scheme, according to the FBI. In late March, the union rushed out a press release: The union launched an exhaustive search for masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) five days ago in response to pleas from frontline healthcare workers that they need more protection and feel unsafe on the job as they treat the growing number of COVID-19 patients. SEIU-UHW has 97,000 members who work in hospitals across California. Within 48 hours of painstakingly calling leads and potential suppliers,...

I laughed at this tweet by Tom Elliott: “There’s a non zero percent chance the mafia is involved here.” It feels right. We’re a third-world country now in many respects. Our nurses wear trash bags because our leaders were too shortsighted and slovenly to stockpile PPE before a pandemic broke out. We’re governed by a nationalist strongman whose battle plan against the virus seems to be to give everyone some hydroxychloroquine and tell them to get back to work. Of course a society at that late stage of decline might need to turn to the mafia as a key distributor...

What could be more harmless than a British cup of tea? That’s what our new Chancellor Rishi Sunak must have thought as he shared a benign tweet about making his team a cup of tea while they prepare the budget he has to deliver to British Parliament on March 11. "Nothing like a good brew," he said. He could never have known what was about to befall his brand of choice, Yorkshire Tea. For the crime of their product featuring in a picture with the Conservative Chancellor, there were demands for a boycott, a ban and worse, much worse. So...

U.S. Bishops’ Conference Sued for Lying and Stealing Peter's Pence donors invited to join lawsuit PROVIDENCE, R.I. (ChurchMilitant.com) - The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is being sued for obtaining millions of dollars in charitable donations under false pretenses and privately investing that money into ventures such as luxury condominium developments and Hollywood movies. Texas-based legal firm the Stanley Law Group filed a class-action lawsuit against the USCCB on Wednesday, alleging the organization fraudulently promotes Peter's Pence as a papal charity when recent reports show as little as 10% of donations are used for its stated purpose. .....a spotlight has been cast on Hunter Biden's ventures not only in Ukraine, but in China, while Joe was vice president. Republicans are demanding that he testify on his work before Congress. For almost six years, the Hunter Biden China-connected firm has moved more than $2.5B into various automotive, technology, energy, and mining endeavors. Analysts point to the “ethical challenges” of Hunter doing such deals in China while his father was in the White House. “At a time when the Obama administration was trying to pivot to Asia, a policy that ultimately fell flat, one has to at least stop...

Reptile breeder Brian Gundy had just given a talk and animal presentation Saturday at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in downtown San Jose. While going to get his car parked on the second level of the Fourth and San Fernando Street garage about 4:30 p.m., he left his his snakes and lizards in boxes and a bag in a no-parking zone. When he returned for his critters, he made a grim discovery. "As I was loading up my gear, I realized the bag that had my four pythons and blue skink lizard inside was gone and they were...

A chaotic chain of events that began early Tuesday, when Illinois police say six teenagers from Chicago drove to a northern suburb and attempted to steal a car, has ended in murder charges against five of them. The car owner saw one of the males holding an object and "feared for his life,"...

Teens lead deputies on chase in stole vehicles Criminals are often not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. After a recent uptick in entering autos, our Uniform Patrol, Crime Reduction Unit, Traffic Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit created a response plan to stop this trend. This past weekend, Sergeant Nelson keenly observed two suspicious vehicles near Post Road and Atlanta Hwy, they immediately fled creating a unique pursuit with Sgt. Nelson chasing both stolen vehicles at the same time. The entire team was in the immediate area and descended on the two fleeing suspects. We can only imagine their dismay...

The results did not bode well for conservatives, as the company committed to work with left-wing groups in every facet of its business. The audit announced a “Civil Rights Task Force,” led by COO Sheryl Sandberg, which will rely on third-party “civil rights expertise” to make decisions. The task force will address all key departments of the business from content and partnerships to human resources. It will exist to “ensure civil rights concerns raised by outside groups are escalated promptly to decision-makers so that they can be considered...

Democrats have an insurance policy for the 2020 Presidential election, and it has nothing to do with the eventual Democratic Party nominee. The original policy was initiated by Obama, Comey, Brennan, McCabe, Hillary, and their ilk, bragged about by Strzok to his paramour, and paid for by the Democrat/media cabal. The mephitic Mueller tried to cash it in, but the hero Marine got slapped down by Barr. It’s a plan to “win” the election by any means necessary, even by cheating if necessary. Of its components, the “failsafe,” is most intriguing, if for no other reason than it is so...
