A toy company, "Applause Entertainment", has some pictures on its website of various action figures from the upcoming Lord of the Rings movie, "The Two Towers". One such photo may be of their figure for Treebeard, the old Ent who helps out Merry and Pippin. As such, it also might be VERY close to the way the old tree-herder will look in the movie. Ian McKellen says the title of the second Lord Of The Rings film will not be changed. An online petition is urging director Peter Jackson to abandon plans to call the sequel The Two Towers. Some fans wanted it to be renamed following the attacks on the twin towers of the World Trade Centre. The trailer to the next Lord Of The Rings film has been posted online. The Two Towers is due to be released in December. The trailer features first glimpses of Bernard Hill's character King Theoden, and Eowyn, played by Miranda Otto. It also features a voiceover by Gollum. The trailer, at Movie-List.net, ends with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli being confronted by a face from the past.

"The Two Towers" are getting some last-minute renovations. Fox News reports that director Peter Jackson has summoned most of the cast of "Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers" back to New Zealand to re-shoot scenes for the film, which finished principal shooting months ago, and was thought to be ready for release. Viggo Mortensen, Elijah Wood, Liv Tyler and Ian McKellen are among those heading back to New Zealand for the additional work.
