The Barack Obama administration has decided to lift a ban preventing Muslim Scholar Professor Tariq Ramadan from entering the United States. Ramadan, an Egyptian currently living in Switzerland, is a leading member of Europe’s Muslim Brotherhood branch and the grandson of the movement’s founder Hassan al-Banna. Last Friday we held our downtown Christmas Party at Dugan's Irish Pub. We had a great crowd and the bar was filled with Christmas cheer until smoke began to fill the entire venue. At approximately 8 p.m. the Chicago Fire Department were called to the bar to put out what was a very smoked filled bar.
