Port Royal was called "the richest and wickedest city in the world" or "the Sodom of the New World." Suddenly, JUNE 7, 1692, an earthquake and tsunami sank Port Royal under the sea, followed by violent aftershocks...

In view of the tragic and deeply sinful spectacle of the “coming out” of Bruce Jenner, at one time the greatest living athlete on earth, but now a confused, self deformed, depraved and tormented soul, I thought it would be appropriate to re-release an earlier series of articles, called “True and False Freedom”. Many are heralding Jenner’s perverse publicity stunt, as “courageous” and bold. ESPN is giving Jenner the ESPY award for “Bravery”. Jenner edged out a double amputee war hero who doesn’t let his serious war injuries keep him from foot racing and other sports.Of course ESPN executives and announcers...

Manifest Destiny in the Bible? America Is Modern Babylon, Said David Wilkerson Julio Severo comments on David Wilkerson’s prophetic revelations about America’s “destiny” in his book “Set the Trumpet to Thy Mouth.” By Julio Severo A solid majority of Americans would now be comfortable with a president who is gay or lesbian, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. A full 61 percent of respondents reported being “enthusiastic” or “comfortable” with a gay or lesbian president. Meanwhile, Americans comfortable or enthusiastic about an evangelical Christian president received a more tepid 52 percent approval. This study comes on...

Across Massachusetts – and across America – thousands of schoolchildren are given sexually graphic, psychologically intrusive surveys by the public schools without parents’ knowledge. These surveys also ask youth to reveal their criminal activity, personal family matters, and other intimate issues. This is done in the public middle schools and high schools during school hours. At best, parents are told about the surveys in vague terms, but are rarely allowed read them beforehand. The surveys are “officially” anonymous and voluntary. But they are administered by the teacher in a classroom and (according to teachers we’ve talked to) there is often...

As I write this article, the ancient city of Sodom is being excavated on the Northeast tip of the Dead Sea in Jordan. The Site is called the Tell el-Hammam Excavation Project, led by Dr. Steven Collins of Trinity Southwest University, College of Archaeology. The excavation project has uncovered evidence of an advanced society replete with Greek architecture, art, and an advanced economy. There is also evidence of a cataclysmic event, similar to a nuclear type explosion, that leveled the city at one point in its history. After the cataclysmic event, perhaps the most significant finding is the relation to...

CNN published an inane hit-piece by Tim Holbrook yesterday, in which he argues that there is indeed bullying and denigration of gays and lesbians today, and therefore all the extreme measures to protect these wilting flowers is justified. The lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community has long had various epithets hurled against its members. There are the well-known "f" and "d" words thrown at those perceived as gay or lesbian, respectively. And, of course, the line "that's so gay," which is meant to denigrate something or someone. So, the first argument is summed up as "words exist." Here, I'll use them:...

Last month, Sen. Ted Cruz, the Texas Republican, became one of the first major candidates in the marathon slog that is our modern presidential election cycle. Usually, when I want to see people get hit while running an obstacle course, I binge-watch Wipeout, the popular ABC show. But as anyone on social media is certainly well aware, there is no escaping our country’s least-enjoyable reality show: America’s Next Top Presidential Candidate (until the Next One, and the Next One, and the One After That). This year, my election fatigue is already so bad, I won’t even watch political gaffes on...

According to recent reports, St. James Episcopal Church in Wichita, Kan., is preparing to mark the 42nd anniversary of legalized abortion with a chili dinner on church grounds later this month. Tickets range from $20 to $1,000 for the Planned Parenthood-sponsored event, which promises “an evening of stimulating conversation, refreshments and CHILI!” The event, dubbed Chili for Choice, is one of many anniversary celebrations planned throughout the nation to mark another year of allowing American women to legally kill their unborn children. Concerts and celebrity appearances mark many of these gatherings; however, an ostensibly Christian church willing to openly endorse...

The Catholic Church must help parents stand by their gay children, Pope Francis said in a new interview about his papal ministry. The pontiff’s comments come a day after Francis urged top church officials to pay attention to the “signs of the times” and listen to ordinary Catholics, according to The Independent. “We come across this reality all the time in the confessional: a father and a mother whose son or daughter is in that situation. This happened to me several times in Buenos Aires.... We have to find a way to help that father or that mother to stand...

Reverend Billy Graham, arguably the most well-known and respected evangelical preacher of the last 50 years, said in a recently published commentary that America was “founded by men who believed in prayer” and that prayer can turn “the tide of history,” adding that while “America is just as wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah” and deserves “the judgment of God,” this judgment can be lessened through prayer. “Even though America is just as wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah ever were, and as deserving of the judgment of God, God would spare us if we were earnestly praying, with hearts that had...

Tyler Durden 08/01/2014 As we previously commented, when scientists start using phrases such as "the worst drought" and "as bad as you can imagine" to describe what is going on in the western half of the country, you know that things are bad. However, in recent weeks the dreadful situation in California has gone from bad to catastrophic as the U.S. Drought Monitor reported that more than half of the state is now in experiencing 'exceptional' drought, the most severe category available. And most of the state – 81% – currently has one of the two most intense levels of...

Georgia health officials on Friday retracted a job offer made to Pasadena's former public health director, who had come under fire for controversial remarks he made on homosexuality and evolution. Dr. Eric Walsh, a Seventh-day Adventist preacher, interviewed for the position about two weeks ago and had received an offer letter with a start date of mid-June. But Walsh never mentioned that he had recently been placed on leave from his job in Pasadena because of controversial sermons he gave on homosexuality and evolution, Georgia officials said. The sermons were discovered during a background check that happens as the last...

HOUSTON – A middle school teacher has sashayed her way into a lot of trouble after she allegedly gave one of her students a birthday lap dance in front of the entire class. Late last week on the blog the I made mention of the sins that “cry to heaven for vengeance.†The traditional list, is summarized in the Catechism which states The catechetical tradition also recalls that there are “sins that cry to heavenâ€: the blood of Abel, the sin of the Sodomites, the cry of the people oppressed in Egypt, the cry of the foreigner, the widow, and the orphan, injustice to the wage earner (# 1867). It probably does not surprise you that I got push-back from certain homosexuals who wrote in to “remind†me that the sin of Sodom...

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the...

Hey, reader: have you ever noticed the lack of men in our culture nowadays? You haven’t? Well, then allow me to be the first to tell you that you’re either… a. Blind, undoubtedly deaf and you probably live in a van down by the river. b. You’re simply not paying attention. c. You are too young to have a historical reference point to when men were actually men and not giddy and roughed X-Factor hopefuls, or turkey-necked, unprincipled politicians, or earring sporting “ministers” of the “gospel”. d. All of the above. Now … please note that I didn’t say males...

“Gay Marriage” as a Sign of the End Times Posted on November 1, 2013 by Pastor Scott Originally published September 15, 2011 Harold Camping was wrong about Judgment Day, but he was right that the rise of the homosexual movement is a sign of the end times. We are probably all familiar with the oft-cited fact that the collapse of numerous civilizations prior to our own were heralded by a rise in sexual immorality, especially homosexuality. That alone should alert us to the grave situation we find ourselves in today. But there is a deeper spiritual significance beneath that statistic....
