Tonight marks the 2-hour season premiere of one of television’s top-rated, most critically acclaimed shows — one that curiously gets little media attention. For nine seasons, “Shark Tank” — a competitive reality program in which inventors pitch to a panel of multi-millionaires (and one billionaire) — has been a consistent ratings winner despite ABC airing it in a Friday night graveyard slot. It’s won four Emmys for Outstanding Structured Reality Program. Last August, the show retained its audience against NFL pre-season games. The success of “Shark Tank” has surprised even some sharks. “I thought it was going to be a...

Conservative leadership candidate Kevin O'Leary says the United States is out-competing Canada under President Donald Trump, and the country is going to have to ditch Liberal policies if it wants to get back on track. "Here's what we have to do as a country. We have to immediately find out, what is it going to take to be competitive?" O'Leary said during an interview on CBC Manitoba's Up to Speed Thursday. "Whatever Trump does on tax, we match it. Whatever he does on personal taxation, we match it. Whatever he does on the regulatory environment, we match it, and then...

Top honors on Friday typically go to ABC's Shark Tank, but the reality competition was down sharply from its year-ago premiere. It sank 45 percent among adults 18-49 to a 1.1 rating.

I have watched Mark's career, enjoy watching him on Shark Tank, love his entrepreneurial spirit but being Hillary's veep? Has he lost his friggin mind? Does he know nothing about the Clinton's? Who in their right mind, who believes in the amazing aspects of capitalism would want to be associated with those two? Sorry Mark but you are now an asshat!

LOS ANGELES, California, May 4, 2015 (ENS) – AIRPod, a $10,000 car that runs on compressed air, has won a development deal on the American TV program “Shark Tank.” Robert Herjavec, one of the investors, or sharks, Friday night agreed to invest US$5 million in Zero Pollution Motors, the U.S. licensee for Luxembourg-based MDI, developer of the Air Car as a compression-based alternative to the internal combustion engine. In return Herjavec, a Croatian-born Canadian businessman, investor and auto racing enthusiast, will acquire 50 percent equity in Zero Pollution Motors. Pat Boone, the famous music star from the 1950s, joined Ethan...

Anybody who’s watched “Shark Tank” more than once will tell you he’s hooked on the Sharks, just as much as they are on the little fishies swimming around in the tank. The Sharks—a panel of billionaire investors ranging in expertise and net worth—scowl, laugh, cry, ridicule, and jest like a bunch of frat boys (and a sorority chick or two) on steroids, 30 years post-college. If “business is the ultimate sport,” as Shark investor, billionaire businessman, and owner of the Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban said in an interview last year with Inc., Magazine, than every episode of “Shark Tank” is...

Curt Clawson has hired a record 25 consultants for his campaign. It’s a lie that he’s an outsider. He’s not a principled Conservative either, something those supporting him claim he is. Just recently Breitbart News contributor Javier Manjarres of Shark Tank wrote a hit piece on Sarah, criticizing her for choosing the wrong Conservative in the race: Sarah Palin Jumps the Gun May Not Have Fully Vetted Recent Endorsee. That is ironic coming from a RINO-infested tank who shilled for Marco Rubio when he was lying about being against amnesty early on. Where was his research and vetting then? Shark...

It’s an exceedingly simple show: A panel of potential investors — “the sharks” — sit in a row, taking business pitches from Americans of every imaginable stripe, and every imaginable walk of life. They are hoping to get those rich guys and gals — themselves a walk through the American diversity quilt — to fund their start-up businesses. The show is ABC’s Shark Tank. Now in its fourth season, it’s exceedingly entertaining. It’s so entertaining that it’s the No. 1 show in America in the coveted 18-to-49-year-old demographic on Friday evenings. And what’s not to enjoy? It is part American...

Amigos, I don’t know what else to say other than a hearty “gracias” to all of you who’ve supported the Shark Tank and think the blog has made a difference in both Florida and national politics. I am honored beyond words to have been nominated, let alone selected, as the 2011 CPAC Blogger of the Year. The Shark Tank has done its best to report on local politics throughout the State of Florida (and elsewhere!) and we’ve promoted solid conservative candidates who we thought would best represent the Republican Party of Florida. We are proud to have influenced elections throughout...
