Just four days after George Floyd was killed by Minneapolis Police Officer, Derek Chauvin, and the video sparked protests across the country, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz welcomed in a few dozen African American community leaders to talk at One Government Center. Mayor Kapszukiewicz acknowledged that Toledo is 652 miles away from Minneapolis, where the incident happened that resulted in Floyd's death. But he said the video made him sick to his stomach and he made a long-term commitment to opening up communication, and having difficult conversations like he had. In front of the Safety Building after the meeting, the mayor...

The Bangladeshi-Indian restaurant, Gandhi Mahal, in Minneapolis' 3rd Precinct was burned to the ground during riots that ravaged the city Thursday night into Friday morning. The restaurant sat in the epicenter of where America's riots began following the death of George Floyd. In fact, 18-year-old Hafsa Islam, the restaurant owner's daughter, saw Floyd being arrested while she was making a Door Dash delivery. She learned later in the day that Floyd had died. Hafsa was originally upset with the fact that her family's business – and main source of income – was lost until she heard her father say, "Let...

We knew from recent rallies and riots that it’s highly likely the groups behind today’s riots are Domestic terrorists, revolutionary communists, US based radical Islamist organizations and others related to the Democrat Party. Today we have more proof this is the case. We reported a few days ago that Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar’s daughter tweeted out support for the protestors: Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s daughter Isra Hirsi, retweeted a list of supplies for “comrades” who are rioting in Minneapolis. Isra Hirsi is the co-founder of US Youth Climate Strike and her Twitter bio says she ‘hates capitalism.’ Isra Hirsi...

The recent spate of protests against police brutality have changed the way the left thinks about rioting. The old liberal idea, which distinguished between peaceful protests (good) and rioting (bad), has given way to a more radical analysis. “Riots work,” insists George Ciccariello-Maher in Salon. “But despite the obviousness of the point, an entire chorus of media, police, and self-appointed community leaders continue to try to convince us otherwise, hammering into our heads a narrative of a nonviolence that has never worked on its own, based on a mythical understanding of the Civil Rights Movement.” Vox’s German Lopez, while acknowledging...

Two men were arrested, but it's unclear if they were involved in the shooting. Two people were killed, including a teenager, when gunfire erupted at a rural South Carolina block party that drew up to 1,000 revelers in spite of government warnings against large gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic, authorities said. The shooting broke out just before 8 p.m. on Saturday in an unincorporated area about nine miles outside Union, South Carolina, after the Union County Sheriff's Department responded to a complaint of vehicles blocking a roadway, Major Scott Coffer told ABC News on Sunday.

Phil Murphy’s executive order to stay closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, reportedly had a sewage problem on Wednesday that caused members to leave the facility. Plumbers were called and state officials issued a notice of embargo.

Presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg did his best Friday night to ignore a small but vocal group of protesters who yelled anti-gay slurs and told him to "repent" during a speech in Dallas, Texas. Buttigieg, the openly gay mayor of South Bend, Indiana, was speaking at an event for the Dallas County Democratic Party when he was interrupted several times by a handful of protesters who hurled, among other anti-gay remarks, "marriage is between a man and a woman" and "what about the babies?" Part of the interruption was caught on video by CNN reporter DJ Judd. Rather than confront the...

Racist, anti-gay and anti-Semitic remarks were found spray-painted Wednesday on a Democratic Party office in Oklahoma for the second time in as many weeks, and authorities said vandals left similar graffiti at a nearby school and arts center. The vandalism was discovered on the windows and sidewalk outside the Cleveland County Democratic Party headquarters as well as the Firehouse Art Center and McKinley Elementary School in Norman, about 17 miles (27 kilometers) south of Oklahoma City. Similar epithets were discovered spray-painted on March 28 on the front door, walkway and other areas outside the state Democratic Party headquarters in Oklahoma...

The £400 million palace of Turkey’s President Erdogan is the biggest in the world. It is also a monstrosity. Thirty times the size of the White House, all the seats of government of Turkey’s Nato allies could be contained inside its vast marble halls and endless corridors. No wonder the sprawling modernist structure is compared to the People’s Palace built by Romania’s dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. It actually looks more like a massive public lavatory. Saddam himself would blanch at the silk wallpaper in the bathrooms, the cabinets displaying gold inlaid glasses that cost £250 each, and the 63 lifts. The...

Turkey's last hope dies By Ralph Peters Published July 16, 2016 Friday night’s failed coup was Turkey’s last hope to stop the Islamization of its government and the degradation of its society. Reflexively, Western leaders rushed to condemn a coup attempt they refused to understand. Their reward will be a toxic Islamist regime at the gates of Europe. Our leaders no longer do their basic homework. The media relies on experts-by-Wikipedia. Except for PC platitudes, our schools ignore the world beyond our shores. Deluged with unreliable information, citizens succumb to the new superstitions of the digital age. So a great country...

In 1943, having murdered most of the Jewish population of the occupied portions of the Soviet Union, the Nazis launched a campaign to exterminate the Slavs as well. As part of this effort, Nazi SS units under the command of Himmler protégé Jochem Peiper (who later achieved infamy in the West as well for his massacre of captured GIs at Malmedy during the Battle of the Bulge) systematically rounded up Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarussian villagers, herded them into their churches, blocked the doors, and set them ablaze. Over a thousand such massacres were perpetrated, and the memory of these horrific...

Meet the Obama-supporting Leftists Who Faked Hate Crimes at Oberlin College The Daily Caller has an incredible story today, revealing the truth behind the alleged spree of “hate crimes” that took place at Oberlin College earlier this year. Chuck Ross reports for the DC: One of the two students removed from Oberlin College earlier this year for allegedly circulating virulently racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages around campus is an ardent leftist and committed supporter of...

Turkey's former armed forces chief has been jailed for life for plotting to overthrow the government, after five years of trials involving officers, lawyers, writers and journalists. Gen Ilker Basbug was among dozens of people convicted of involvement in the so-called Ergenekon plot. Critics of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan have accused him of staging show trials to eliminate his enemies. His supporters say the trials have pushed the military out of politics. Verdicts are being read out one by one at a specially constructed courtroom in Istanbul. Twenty-one people have been acquitted and some 40 convicted so far, including...

The Daily Caller’s 05/17/13 report, “Flashback: Schumer, Franken urged IRS to target tea party in 2012,” exposes the moral bankruptcy of the left, as those leaders demanded an expansion of the current administration’s on-going anti-democratic efforts. Al Franken, Chuck Schumer, and other liberal Democrats penned a letter on March 12, 2012, calling on the IRS to cap the amount of political spending by groups they deemed masquerading as “social welfare organizations.” The group stated that the lack of clarity in the IRS rules allowed some political groups to improperly claim 501(c) 4 status, thereby allowing donors to these groups to...

On February 27, 1933 at about 9:25 PM a fire in Germany’s Reichstag building was detected. The Reichstag building was the assembly place for the German Parliament. After a brief “investigation” Adolph Hitler’s Nazis, who had already begun to take control of Germany, arranged the arrest of a Dutch Communist who was charged with the arson. The fire and the destruction it brought was blamed on this handy scape goat, and Herr Hitler then pointed to him and used the fire as a reason for demanding dictatorial powers over Germany. Civil liberties soon started to disappeared and mass arrests of...

In his broadest remarks on gun control yet in the aftermath of the mass shooting at a Colorado movie theater, President Barack Obama called late Wednesday for tougher background checks designed to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill. "A lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals -- that they belong on the battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities," the president, who has called for reimposing the Assault Weapons Ban, said in a speech to the National Urban...
