Radio spots began airing today in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, with other markets to be added as the election approaches. In an attempt to reach these black voters, however, the RNC is embarking on a “significant radio ad campaign” utilizing a broadcast group with a long history of making large individual contributions to left-wing political candidates, including Al Sharpton, Senator Ed Markey (D-MA), Rep Maxine Waters (D-CA), Rep James Clyburn (D-SC), former Rep Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL), Rep Barbara Lee (D-CA), Rep Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and others.
