President Donald Trump spoke to the VFW Convention today in Kansas City, Missouri. During his speech invited 94-year-old veteran Allen Jones on stage to share a few words. Allen stole the show. The World War II veteran told the story of losing his brother in World War II fighting. Then Allen turned to President Trump and made a request. Allen asked the US president if he could bring his family to the Oval Office next April when he turns 95. President Trump said yes and gave Allen a hug. This was an amazing American moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LacxeCjaLdE&feature=youtu.be

After three weeks of renovations, the Trump Oval Office is complete and the last remnants of the Obama era have been removed. Gone are the striped wall paper and suede couches, replaced by more neutral solid walls and off-white jacquard couches. Perhaps most notable are the addition of U.S. military flags that now surround the presidential desk. During the Obama years there were only two flags in the office of the Commander in Chief – none of them military. POTUS Trump has brought in several more stars and stripes than his predecessor, as well as flags representing each branch of...

New photos show the renovation of the White House is almost complete after two weeks The Oval Office has new wallpaper and the Roosevelt Room and West Wing lobby new carpeting The South Portico steps have also been renovated for the first time in more than 60 years  And much work was done to replace the White House's HVAC system, which was installed 27 years ago Because it has run constantly since then, it had had the equivalent of 81 years of regular usage There were also IT upgrades and general paint jobs - the latter of which continued Tuesday...

Washington Post just couldn't let it go. After going full absurd with their speculation on May 10 that a Russian photographer in the Oval Office could have planted a recording device, they doubled down in their absurdity with yet more derangement on the same topic the following day. This time it was their national correspondent Philip Bump who volunteered to make a laughingstock of himself. Bump's hilarious speculation starts with the very title of his article, Here’s how the Russians might have snuck a recording device into the Oval Office.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room."It is a good bet that Washington Post reporters Carol Morello and Greg Miller probably had the movie Dr. Strangelove on their minds either conciously or unconciously when they wrote their May 10 story/fantasy about the possibility that a Russian photographer could have planted a surveillance device in the White House Oval Office during a meeting there between President Donald Trump and Russian diplomats. Before we get to the reporters summoning up their inner General Buck Turgidson, let us revisit the Dr. Strangelove War Room scene in which Russian ambassador Alexi de Sadesky attempts...

Rep. Cedric Richmond spoke yesterday at the Washington Press Club Foundation dinner. His attempt at a comedy routine wound up being an example of what not to do. Few of his remarks were funny but he really face-planted when he brought up Kellyanne Conway “and the picture on the sofa.” “I really just want to know what was going on there,” Richmond said to Sen. Tim Scott. He continued, “You know I won’t tell anybody and you can just explain to me that circumstance because she really looked kind of familiar in that position.” Richmond was referring to Couchgate. That’s...

The Democrats prove once again that they are the true misogynists. Democrat Congressman, Cedric Richmond in Louisiana disrespected Kellyanne Conway by making a crude ‘joke’ about her looking ‘familiar’ on her knees in reference to the picture of her kneeling on the couch in the Oval Office.

WASHINGTON (AP) — It took just a few hours for President Donald Trump to give the Oval Office a makeover, including some fresh gold trim. There were changes from floor to ceiling as the White House brought reporters into the Oval Office on Friday evening for the first time since Trump became president at noon. He was signing an executive order and other paperwork in his first major acts as president. Gone was the giant, circular “quote rug” that took up most of the room when Barack Obama was in charge, featuring quotes attributed to former presidents lining the perimeter....

President Trump has returned a bust of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill to the Oval Office, which had been removed by his predecessor in 2009. *snip* A spokesperson for British Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed last week that Trump had personally asked if England would loan the bust of Churchill to the U.S. once he took office.

Outside the Oval Office is a small rectangular room with two side-by-side, nondescript wooden desks. In one sits President Obama’s personal secretary. In the other is Brian Mosteller, the man who sweats the small stuff so that the president doesn’t have to. Few have even heard of Mosteller, but if you look closely at photographs taken inside the White House, you can often glimpse him at the edge of the frame, omnipresent. From his chair, he is the only person in the White House with a direct view of the president at his desk. No one gets in the Oval...

President Obama is apparently refusing to renovate the Oval Office — and has instead decided to pass the buck to Donald Trump, who may be forced to work somewhere else for a quarter of his term now as a result of the numerous security upgrades that will be going on inside the room. “My understanding is that for the first year of his time in office, President Trump will not have the Oval Office,” former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove told Fox News on Wednesday.

Simply because we conservatives can't bear the thought of four more years of something that looks even much worse than what we have endured for the past eight I am an American writer, and I am proud of my association with Canada Free Press. It is the Canadian paper that behaves in a more traditionally American spirit than do many publications based in the United States. I think if Benjamin Franklin were alive today, and looking to resurrect his Pennsylvania Gazette, he would soon be in league with CFP whose motto/battle cry is, “Because without America, there is no free...

North Korea's rogue dictatorship has conducted its fourth nuclear weapons test. Radical Islamic terrorism has declared war on the civilized world, including the U.S. And China's vast economy is tanking, plunging our stock market into dangerously new lows. This is the destabilizing, confrontational world our next president will have to deal with. It will require a tested, fully experienced leader who's ready to do whatever it takes to defend and strengthen our country. The 2016 presidential campaign is fully underway as it races toward the November election to decide who can lead and protect our country and our way of...
  • Obama will tell America 'do not give in to fear': Third Oval Office address will focus on terror

President Barack Obama will use his Sunday night address on terrorism to urge the American people not to 'give in to fear' after the California shootings. In only the third Oval Office address of his two terms as Commander in Chief, Obama will also pledge to use 'every single aspect of American power' to combat terrorism. The symbolic use of the Oval Office is likely an attempt by Obama to set a tone of political gravitas equal to the moment after repeated accusations that he underestimated the threat from ISIS. However, Attorney General Loretta Lynch cautioned this morning that the...

Psyche. It looks like the Oval Office! But of course, it’s the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas. This is where a group of veterans were getting a tour on Veterans Day this morning when, much to their surprise, President Bush 43 himself popped and personally greeted the surprised and very pleased group. I really don’t need to say a lot about this, but I just want to remind you: For all the prattling from the left and their media mouthpieces about how Bush cavalierly put our fighting men and women in harm’s way, the truth is that the...
