Ohio businessman Jim Renacci, whom national Republican officials prefer as their nominee against Democrat John Boccieri in the Canton-area 16th district, was the source for most of the money his campaign raised in the final three months of 2009. In a filing to the Federal Election Commission on Thursday, Renacci said that he had loaned his campaign $120,000, or nearly 60 percent of the $211,000 he raised overall.
