If you want to know what makes President Barack Obama tick, take a look at his explanation for why Israelis have turned against him. During an interview with Israel’s Channel Two, Obama was asked why he thinks Israelis mistrust him. “Some of it may just be the fact that my middle name is Hussein,” he told the interviewer, “and that creates suspicion. Some of it may have to do with the fact that I have actively reached out to the Muslim community, and I think that sometimes — particularly in the Middle East — there’s the feeling of the friend...

Before King Samir Shabazz wielded a nightstick outside a Philadelphia polling station ... before he was videotaped calling white people "crackers" and urging blacks to kill them and their babies ... the head of the New Black Panther Party in the City of Brotherly Love was singing about being trained by Usama bin Laden. The New Black Panther Party claims to believe in nonviolence, but a song performed by Shabazz's group, Coup Da’Ta, in 2004 includes descriptions of violent attacks against police as well as anti-Semitic statements and claims of having trained with both the most-wanted terrorist in the world...

In the wake of Leon Panetta's public defense of the targeting of American citizens suspected (but never charged or convicted) of Terrorism, Obama officials are now apparently going around the country and, with chest-beating rhetoric, overtly defending their right to target Americans for assassination with no due process of any kind...

WASHINGTON — After two court rulings against its six-month moratorium on deepwater oil and gas drilling, the Obama administration on Monday announced a revised ban that it described as essential and appropriate. The Interior Department said the revised ban incorporates "new evidence regarding safety concerns" as well as new procedures to gather industry feedback. Moreover, the revision suspends drilling not based on water depth, it said, "but on the basis of the drilling configurations and technologies."

BOSTON — In a private meeting with White House officials this weekend, Democratic governors voiced deep anxiety about the Obama administration’s suit against Arizona’s new immigration law, worrying that it could cost a vulnerable Democratic Party in the fall elections. While the weak economy dominated the official agenda at the summer meeting here of the National Governors Association, concern over immigration policy pervaded the closed-door session between Democratic governors and White House officials and simmered throughout the three-day event. At the Democrats’ meeting on Saturday, some governors bemoaned the timing of the Justice Department lawsuit, according to two governors who...

This Black Panther just keeps getting more and more absurd. New Black Panther Party head Malik Zulu Shabazz burst onto the scene with some strongly-worded messages to Glenn Beck and a interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly and has usurped BP CEO Tony Hayward’s place as this summer’s most disliked non-celebrity in some circles. And now, video has surfaced of Shabazz praising Osama Bin Laden in 2002 for “not bowing down” to America. Holding up an illustration of Bin Laden at what appears to be an NBPP meeting, Shabazz dramatically sings the praising of the head of Al-Qaeda: “Let’s talk...

(CNSNews.com) - Reps. Barney Frank and John Tierney, both Massachusetts Democrats, say Dr. Jane Lubchenco, the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, has shown hostility to the concerns of fishermen and should step down. Among other problems, a recent inspector-general’s report found problems with the way NOAA’s Office of Law Enforcement spent money raised through fines and penalties on fishermen. Frank and Tierney – both of whom represent port cities in Massachusetts -- say tensions between Lubchenco and the fishing community have been building for months and show no sign of abating. They place the blame squarely on Lubchenco,...

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has asked a federal court in Louisiana to reinstate the ban on deepwater drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, saying the moratorium was a rational response to the unprecedented emergency of the BP oil spill. In a court filing late Tuesday, the Interior Department said that the six-month ban on drilling in more than 500 feet of water, imposed in late May, was necessary to allow time to adopt stricter safety and environmental regulation of deepwater wells. The action has put hundreds of people who operate and service deepwater wells out of work and brought...
