ABC News Reporter Jake Tapper's Political Punch Blog has a report on Sen. Barack Obama's push-back on John McCain's description of his tax policies, Tapper begins with a quote from Obama in Florida, here is the whole report: "The reason that we want to do this, change our tax code, is not because I have anything against the rich," Obama said in Sarasota, Fla., yesterday. "I love rich people! I want all of you to be rich. Go for it. That's the American dream, that's the American way, that's terrific.

A look at all we expected to forget and all we expected to overlook this year. For 232 years character and integrity have played an integral role in presidential politics. For 232 years, Americans have elected Presidents not based upon the proposition that asks what your country can do for you, but rather the proposition that you "ask what you can do for your country". In this election we have been told over and over again that we should ignore and not ask any questions concerning ...

Science points to Ayers authorship of Obama's 'Dreams' Exclusive: Jack Cashill shares work of 4 researchers who compared men's writings I write this from a hotel room in Washington, D.C., to which city I have repaired in only a semi-successful attempt to bring the news to our truth-phobic national capital. At the heart of my message is that Barack Obama is an impostor, the Milli Vanilli of politics, a man who has been lip-synching for the last 13 years to lyrics pre-recorded by, among others, Bill Ayers. Exhibit A in my testimony is Obama's 1995 memoir, "Dreams From My Father."...

Fox had an interesting story on this morning. Obama's campaign does not have AVS turned on for it's credit card processing on donations (AVS = Address Verification Service). So, in reality, there is no name validation or address verification tied to his donations, and a ton of money is pouring in from Europe and elsewhere. They can just type in anyname they want to, Fox listed some of the names, Adolf Hilter, William Ayers, Yogi Bear, and so on. Basically, the Obama campaign has put the US Presidency on his own EBay and Europe and others are saying "Okay, we...

In July 2008 I stumbled on a story that won’t let me go. Someone had sent me excerpts from Barack Obama’s memoir, Dreams From My Father, and asked me whether they were as radical as they sounded. After a little research I concluded that these excerpts were not particularly troubling in context. What I also noticed, however, was that they were much too well written. After a speculative article in late July, I let the story drop. A month or so later—for unrelated reasons--I picked up a copy of Bill Ayers’ memoir, Fugitive Days. It has been a roller coaster...

This election will be determined by the Starbucks voter versus the Shoney's voter. Virginia is where this divide is the most significant. http://www.thebulletin.us/site/index.cfm?newsid=20172923&BRD=2737&PAG=461&dept_id=576361&rfi=8

Senator Joseph Biden made remarks yesterday which should be the focus of the American electorate for the next two weeks (when they aren't considering the implications of Senator Obama's desire to "spread the wealth around," and the reliability of Senator Obama's promises measured against his spectacularly broken pledge to accept public financing.) Here's a detailed report from ABC on what Biden said at a Seattle fundraiser Sunday: "Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did...

Joe Biden spoke directly to John McCain during a speech Tuesday afternoon, demanding that his campaign end robo-calls that attack Barack Obamas character. “You've heard a lot of scurrilous ads and phone calls lately which lie about Barack Obama and also raise unfair questions about his character,” said Biden to a crowd of several thousand in rural Colorado. “A lot of Democrats are angry. But folks: if, God willing, we win this, when we win, we have to reach out. We have to isolate those extremes. We have to reach out to Democrats and Republicans and Independents.” “And I say...

Yesterday I was very fearful of an Obama presidency. Today, I look back on yesterday as my naive happy days. Joe Biden is scaring my hair out. Here's what Biden said yesterday, according to ABC: "I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, 'Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?' We're gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I'm asking you now, I'm asking you now, be prepared to stick with...

Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware said Friday that Nevadans shouldn’t listen to claims he and Barack Obama would take away the right to bear arms. “I get a kick out of, sometimes, the NRA saying we’re going to take your shotguns away,” he said in a telephone interview with the Nevada Appeal. “I’ve got three shotguns, although my son thinks one of them, the over-under, is his.” “Both of us believe strongly in the Second Amendment,” Biden said. “We do not believe in registration. We do believe in limits on some of the weapons. You can’t have...

ABC News' Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions. "Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the...
