Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign is planning a rollout for Michelle Obama’s endorsement, although there are questions around just how public a role the enormously popular former first lady will play in his campaign. Sources tell The Hill that the Biden campaign’s early plans include a focus on remote fundraising and voter registration efforts. The trick for Michelle Obama and the Biden campaign is finding the right balance for the pop culture icon, who could be a massive asset for the campaign but has never shown much enthusiasm for campaign politics. A source close to Michelle Obama said the...

Every one of the icky Democrat party candidates is a wannabe tyrant who is not qualified to be president but that doesn’t mean one of them can’t win. I watched the Democrat primary debate and had very mixed feelings. On the one hand, I thought that this collection of despots, whether socialists (everyone but Mike Bloomberg) or just naturally despotic (Mike Bloomberg) doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in a hot place come the general election. On the other hand, the mere fact that five of them are the ones the party faithful have winnowed down as potential presidents and that...

It’s no wonder he chose to skip the Iowa caucus, given that former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg apparently thinks farmers and manufacturers all across America lack “gray matter." In a clip just now circulating online, Bloomberg, while speaking at Oxford’s Said Business School back in 2016, explained that "anybody [can] be a farmer," but that it takes "a lot more gray matter" to "think and analyze" enough to work in the tech field. “I could teach anybody – even people in this room, no offense intended – to be a farmer,” Bloomberg explained. “It's a process. You dig a hole,...

Michelle Obama showed off an easy, breezy style today during a trip to Vietnam, where she is raising awareness about the importance of educating adolescent girls. The former first lady wore a pale pink set consisting of a crewneck blouse, harem pants and a printed cardigan today at Can Giuoc, a high school in Vietnam’s Long An province. Obama kept the pink theme going with her footwear but added a metallic twist, choosing rose gold espadrilles from Sophia Webster. The slip-ons have a leather upper, a braided sole and a round toe. Sophia Webster’s signature butterfly accents the upper, with...

Michelle Obama knows how to #BeBest. The former first lady came to the defense of climate activist Greta Thunberg’s on Twitter TWTR, +0.66% Thursday, after President Trump mocked the 16-year-old for being named Time’s Person of the Year. Trump had tweeted, “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” (snip) So former first lady Obama tweeted a message of support to Thunberg on Thursday night, writing: “Don’t let anyone dim your light. Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world,...

Former first lady Michelle Obama criticized the United States while speaking abroad on Thursday, stating the country is “still not where we need to be” on the issue of racism and scoffed at the notion that former President Barack Obama’s election meant the end of bigotry. “We’re still not where we need to be in the United States of America when it comes to race. People thought electing Barack Obama would end racism. That’s 400 years of stuff that was going to be eliminated because of eight years of this kid from Hawaii? Are you kidding me?” Michelle Obama said...

Former First Lady Michelle Obama stood in defense of the proposed Obama Presidential Center site in Jackson Park as an intentional, strategic, powerful decision. “Barack’s presidential library could have been anywhere in the world, because there’s so many people who feel like he is their president all over the world, alright?" she said at today's Obama Summit. "New York wanted it, Hawaii wants it, because it’s also an economic engine. It will be a visited presidential library, because it’s going to be alive. It’s a first. We had to think, where do we put this resource?” she said. “Well, what...

The result means Republicans will hold a 53-47 majority in the Senate next year. The runoff for the remainder of Thad Cochran’s term was held because neither candidate got a majority of the vote in a crowded race Nov. 6.

During the recent United State of Women Summit in LA, Michelle got very real with actress Tracee Ellis Ross, explaining why we need a shake up in the work place – and it could be the most inspiring thing you’ll see today. ‘I wish that girls could fail as bad as men do and be OK,’ she explained. ’Because let me tell you, watching men fail up – it is frustrating. It’s frustrating to see a lot of men blow it and win. And we hold ourselves to these crazy, crazy standards.’ Going on to call for change, Michelle explained:...

Laura Cohen is the longtime wife of President Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen –and though that is statement enough to be talked about, Cohen’s own actions have landed him in the eye of the media. Reports say Michael Cohen paid money out of his own pocket to pornographic film star Stormy Daniels, a month before the 2016 presidential election. Daniels whose real name is Stephanie Clifford –has long stated she had an affair with Trump.Cohen apparently, tired of waiting for his money to be reimbursed, has opened up about it. In a statement earlier this week he spills the beans...
