Singer Christina Grimmie died early Saturday after being shot inside the Plaza Live concert venue in Orlando Friday night, police said.  The shooting was reported at the Bumby Avenue venue east of downtown about 10:30 p.m. after a concert by the band Before you Exit and Grimmie, who has appeared on NBC's singing competition, The Voice.

A YouTube star was injured at an Orlando concert by a suspect that was found dead, according to police. Attendees at the city’s Plaza Live first reported a shooter at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday night, when boy band Before You Exit and Christina Grimmie were slated to perform. Police identified the wounded victim as Grimmie, a 22-year-old singer who finished third on The Voice in 2014.
