KENT has been hit by an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale which shook homes for 10 seconds and woke up scores of residents.The east of the county was hit by tremors just before 3am. Rodger Kent, a longtime Twin Cities radio and television personality whose career ranged from delivering weather forecasts to announcing pro wrestling to hosting a hunting and fishing show, has died. Kent, who lived in Cook, Minn., was 90. Kent’s death Friday was announced Monday by the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting, which will be the site of his memorial service Dec. 14. The farm's owner went to his office in 25000 block of Frager Rd. S. around 1:30 a.m. after being alerted somehow that it was being burglarized, said Sgt. CLEVELAND - A tape recording of the 1970 shooting deaths of four Kent State University students by Ohio National Guardsmen reveals the sound of pistol shots 70 seconds earlier, a newspaper reported Friday citing the work of a forensic audio expert.
